really good. good food. classic, great diner service. old skool feel, but modern, clean good food. great location (replaced the old Tiffany's that had been there for 30-40 years).
Walking in we were immediately greeted by the host. He was in a great mood immediately making us feel welcomed. We are quickly seated and our server got to us in good time. I got cheese curds for the starter and they were good. The main course ordered was the chicken tenders plate and she got waffles. Food came out missing sauces. A friend and I were looking for someplace new for breakfast at 10 a.m. on a Sunday and remembering that Metro Diner opened in Palm Harbor at the end of October 2025 we decided to give it a try. We had a short 5-minute wait to be seated at a booth; the restaurant was crowded.\n\nMy choice was Avocado Toast with a side of 2 scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese, and an unsweetened iced tea ($17.48 + tax/tip). My friend chose the Bacon, Egg and Cheese Croissant with hashbrown potatoes...
