My wife and I stopped in Saturday afternoon for lunch. We sat at the bar and the owner Bacce took great care of us like we were family. The food was excellent and the service first class. The stuffed clams were a great start and the Frutti de Mare loaded with seafood. We even got to meet one of the chefs who brought it out to us. As we were leaving my wife said we have a new go to place. Thank you Bacce and staff.

Stopped in just as they opened. Just wanted a quick capuchino and an espresso. We ended up staying for a meal! Had the fiocchi for an appetizer. The different tastes of cheese, fig and prosciutto in a noodle were amazing! We had the salmon on a bed of spinach as the main. The pan seared salmon was perfectly crusted on the sides and outside while the middle moist and flavorful. The staff is friendly and attentive. There’s a nice vibe by the bar with what seems to be regulars. Recommend the cappuccino martini. I was told the difference is an espresso martini doesn’t have the Baileys cream, which makes sense! They have live music later I was told and are all booked until later in the evening. I would recommend a reservation on the weekend nights. It’s under new ownership. Bachi is so personable. You can tell he cares about his customers when he greets regulars by name when they come in. Overall great experience! I’ll definitely be a regular here when I’m in the area!

Hidden gem! Excellent dining experience, from the soft romantic lighting and elegant atmosphere to the exceptional (authentic Italian) cuisine. Plating/presentation is beautiful. Service is top shelf. Servers are knowledgeable and will point you in the right direction if you’re unsure what to order. They also offer espresso, espresso martinis (very good!) and cappuccino- which is a nice way to wrap up your dining experience. Food recommendations: Gorgonzola Filet or “Seafood Pompeii” (*eggplant Rollatini is very good as well) Dessert: Limoncello cheesecake :)

Under new ownership and better than ever! Food was authentic Italian since new owner is from Connecticut, a hotbed of authentic Italian cuisine. We had baked ziti, the best I have ever had. Stuffed mushrooms with sausage was an excellent appetizer. Our entrees were Baked Ziti and Eggplant Parmesan both tasted wonderful. For our second visit we had individual pizzas. The toppings were excellent/plentiful. The dough had to be homemade, the best I have had i the Palm Harbor area. Service was a little slow since all the food is prepared fresh to order. The owner is very affable, and takes pride in the food he serves. You can tell he loves what he is doing. Very nice ambiance , a comfortable place to dine. We will be regulars going forward. Give it a try.

Ordered a meal to go, advised the gentleman that took the order that I would be paying with a gift card, he said we would take care of it when I picked up the meal. Apparently, a card that is a year old is unacceptable, the Manager told me to contact the previous owners for my money back? He took my dinner back in the kitchen! If they weren't going to honor all debts, they shouldn't be using the same name! Shameful
I can give this Italian restaurant in Tampa five stars. I live in New Jersey and I can say that this restaurant was an excellent choice. Chef and owner were only interested in making sure that dinner was as good as possible and it was. I highly recommend this restaurant as food service and quality were top notch.
