Upon arrival to a clean establishment, we found that they have live music every night. It is at a very manageable level, no matter how close you are. The service was absolutely outstanding from the hostess to the waitress, they were very knowledgeable over the menu specials. The food was amazing. True Italian homemade recipes.

Hadn't dined at Positano's in a number of years but read the many positive reviews and decided to try it again. Well we know why it has been so long--we didn't find it as good as other OT diners. Start with the fact the very young hostess was on a phone for about 5 minutes never acknowledging us while we stood flatfooted at the entrance. Finally a "sorry about that" and she seated us. Server was there quickly and took our order. The calamari was huge but very rubbery and chewy and certainly not worth the price ($24). The spaghetti puttanesca was also huge in portion and quite spicy but tasty. Chicken piccata was again large in portion but lacked that lemony flavor although they did provide a half of a lemon so as to add the flavor yourself. The pasta in both dishes was done al dente as we like it. The bottle of prosecco was run of the mill nothing special. Had to request a cooler which server provided. The net of this is we found Positano's to be your average Italian eatery, nothing special but somewhat pricey for the quality and flavor of what you receive.

Had to ask to have the extra glasses and settings moved, for bread, for a refill on my drink, a knife, for cheese, for a box… for only having two tables in there I thought it was pretty odd. Whenever I go out to eat I prefer to sit and order coffee and dessert after however that wasn’t even offered. May give it another chance but not worth spending $30 an entree for service where you seem to be bothering the server.

Great Italian entrees and appetizers! Noticed an acetone smell from the salon next door. But they easily accommodated our 6 person party for a better seating area.

Fantastic food and atmosphere. Service was above an A+ (Nicole). This is THE neighborhood Italian place for us. And the music is great. Try Wednesdays for the best.

We had a reservation, was seated and after 25 minutes of not even receiving even our drinks, we got up and left. Terrible service. I wouldn’t have minded paying their high fees for food if they had an actually taken the time to wait on our table properly. Very disappointed from when the previous owners operated.
Great spot, great food, great fun. Love the ambience. I got a kick out of the entertainment. Our new spot, will definitely return! Highly recommend!

Very cute restaurant with a very warm atmosphere and they treat you like if you were family. I highly recommend it if you want to got with family or friends to enjoy the live music or if you want to feel in like a truly Italian restaurant.My dad asked for a smoked whiskey and Chicken Arrabiata he said it was really good and I had the Penne Alla Wodka and it was delicious. We had the house made tiramisu and Gelato trio and it tasted amazing.
