Went for the soft opening waited an hour for food, which was to be expected and we did not mind the wait, but the food was horrible. I had the spaghetti with chicken parm, can’t got wrong with that! sauce was bland. My husband had the seafood special clams were not opened meaning they were bad claims, only thing good was the bead and wine was good. Don’t think we’ll be going back! It’s too bad bc they were very good before.

The new owner is wonderful. Staff is very knowledgeable, and the new owner is putting it back together from nothing. The food is great. Great bar. Great drinks. Watch your pizza get cooked. Many different languages here with a positive experience for sure. Stop inn , Rate it, tell them where you're from any enjoy this experience like no other. I'm a half-Italian former New Yorker, and it almost angers me that this restaurant has a 4.4 rating. My 50% Italian is half Bari and half Messina, Sicily. I ate at Positano's with a party of 6 and all of us thought the food was disgusting. I ordered the chicken arrabiata, and the sauce tasted similar to like a Chinese sweet and sour sauce, and the chicken tasted like a frozen dinner. The only thing good was the salad. As others have mentioned the staff was not friendly/warm, hardly came around, food took long, and the inside was dated. I try to purposely order dishes like the one I chose because I can normally cook things like chicken parmigiana, meatballs, lasagna, sausage and peppers, stuffed mushrooms, baked clams, etc better than most restaurants. Plus, I like ordering something I don't really eat at home. The 4.4 rating makes no sense to me. Thank God it's temporarily closed for new ownership. We live close by and always laugh at how horrible it was when we drive by. I've eaten better Italian entrées at pizza restaurants.

Great place for dinner with friends and family, sadly is closing Thursday.
We had reservations. After 1hr.30min. We left with no food. Couldn't even get a glass of ice for our water. The table next to us also have up and left with no dinner.

The food was pretty good. We had the wood fired pizza and soup/salad. Not a bad dining area at all. However, our server, Victor, was the star of the evening. Many things happened, but "espresso" served in cups filled to the rim from a coffee pot in the back and then annoyance from Victor that we sent them back was the best. The espresso machine is behind the bar, not in the back where he brought them from to us, per another server. And, we saw the remade espresso done, behind the bar, and they were actually espresso. Oh, and the tossing down of the check and stomping off yelling thank you over the shoulder? All in front of my daughter. Awesome.

Have been to this restaurant many times and the food was good. Tonight we called to get a take out order and the lady was very rude and said she wasn’t going to take our order because she is too busy. It’s safe to say we will never give our business to them again.
