We had been Shogun fans for several years and when they changed management/ownership, the food declined, so we stopped going. We decided to give them another try a week ago and the food and atmosphere were good, but the server was disheveled, poorly trained and wearing shorts and an old t-shirt (this is a Palm Harbor restaurant, not a sports bar for tourists on the beach). Few diners were there, but the service was still slow. The food was good, however, the overall dining experience...
Got a side of rice for my little man and they made it into a cat! Honestly really liked this restaurant. They have a good variety of Japanese food and lots of sushi options. Well priced. We went on a Sunday night and it was quiet. Really good food. Definitely will come back.
Staff made awesome hand rolls.
Server Corrine was friendly and knowledgeable. Other servers assisted in deciding just what Sake to bring home.
