For the first night of spring break, my family picked this spot for dinner. We arrived around 7:30 PM and asked if the outside area was open and the hostess kindly seated us on the patio area. However, the server who was tending to outside rudely passed us at least four times without the slightest acknowledgment. After 15/20 mins of waiting, no drinks or words exchanged, we took our business elsewhere. He did however, proceed to work his assuming to be last table as they were leaving while continuing to ignore us. I too myself, work in the service industry, so I understand the patience and balance, but it wasn’t overly crowded so a simple “hello sorry we will be right with you” would have went a long way and been appreciated. That was my whole point of asking if that area was available, I guess I should have asked for a closers section even though they were still open another hour n a half. My best assumption was his Friday night plans were more important than ours. What a shame, as I felt it was judgment passed being a young woman with two children sat in his section (age 10&15 so behavior and check numbers wouldn’t have been an issue sir)Don’t know if I’ll bother to give this place another try as it would have been our first visit, hopefully a learning lesson for your staff.

My brisket sandwich on garlic toast . The brisket was sliced way to thick as result was extremely chewy. The garlic toast was so strong made eyes water. Then by the time a waitress brought me a bun my dinner was ice cold. Service was bad also. Highly would not recommend.

We arrived at an off hour for lunch. We were seated promptly, and orders were taken. Our server knew the menu inside and out! Her assistance was wonderful.Ouf food came out promptly. They say we eat with our eyes, and it is so right. The meals were visually appealing, and the aromas were wonderful. The chicken that I had was succulent well cooked. The pork bbq plate the wife had was perfect as well.Our friends had ribs, and they were done to perfection as well.Well done, Sonny's!
