It's definitely not the same place we grew to know and love.. very disappointed.
Love this place. When I visit for NC we always have our family dinner here. Food and Service is awesome.
They have the best Ruben sandwich ! Great for lunch or dinner

Delicious
Nice place. We came from Michigan so sadly we won't be back for a while. Great food and great service!
Specifically drove over an hour to get a pastrami sandwich on rye but not sure what type of bread it was, this place used to be amazingly delicious but we were very disappointed. Bread was dry, Cole slaw definitely not homemade and the pickle saw better days. And well, the dessert was tasty. It certainly was not worth the astronomical price. Sad to say we won’t be returning. We usually order from Katz in NY to be delivered because of the drive and that’s what we’ll still be doing.
Place has gone down hill since first time I went 5-6 years ago. There's a large sign just beyond the entrance that talks about how they have eliminated dinner rolls and the slice of cheesecake due in an effort to hold prices down, all while somehow improving the quality of their meats. Perhaps this is true, but I couldn't tell a difference. The Turkey Reuben was ok, but not worth the price. The blackened chicken avocado salad was quite disappointing, flavorless (particularly considering the chicken was supposedly blackened, and that I had bleu cheese dressing) and at a price of twenty dollars! The bakery looks amazing, including the astronomical prices. I'm not sure where else to get a good deli sandwich, but I'll look for other options!
It war terrible! Had an 11:30 am reservation. Waited over 20 minutes to be sat. Ordered and after 40 minutes, two of the 5 in our party got their food. Finally went to see a manager after we finished and the rest of our group had not gotten food and manager went to kitchen and said a few more minutes. Finally 10 minutes later they finally got food . My hot dogs were cold. They took 20% off but won't be back. There were upset people everywhere. Terrible Mother's Day experience 😞

They were very under staffed for Mother's day. We sat at 10:30am and didn't eat until after 12:00pm.
We fort exactly what we came here for. Matzo ball soup, check. Yuuuge deli sandwiches, check Free slice of cheesecake dessert, check Server Sarah was very good. We drove over from Tampa and it was worth the drive.
Not sure what happened - but my New Yorker sandwich had the driest corned beef ever and the bread was not the normal pumpernickel I'm used to. It had very little flavor and it tore - the old bread was more dense and had flavor. It was also not piled high like I'm used to from Lucky Dill.
Food was very good quality for the price. Wednesdays had a $3 discount per meal which was a nice surprise. The separate pastry shop, everything looked delicious but I found the frosting was too heavy and greasy.
Haven't been to the Lucky Dill for months because food and service weren't very good. What a pleasant turnaround. They have upper their game considerably. We'll definitely return.
