We loved the food but missed the hot rolls and cheesecake. Service was excellent. The fish and chips were fresh and crispy. The serving was generous. One of my favorite restaurants in Palm Harbor.
If you want a NY deli experience without going to NY, the Lucky Dill is your place. Great pastrami and corned beef sandwiches and lots of other options. We went with a group of 10, and everyone enjoyed their food. The waitress was very friendly and helpful.
Love this place. Only actual NY food around here.

Today I stopped by to pick up an order. The bakery girl said she didn't have it, then ran out to check in the kitchen and brought it to me super fast. She was super friendly and helpful.
I took those two minutes to check out the bakery, and everything looks delicious. I'll stop by soon to have lunch with the family.

We have been making trips here yearly, going back to the original location. It has been awhile since last visit, unfortunately this will be our last visit. Started off with seeing large sandwich was now $21, ok, food was always good, and it still was. Lunch for 2 was $55, $4 for iced tea, cup of soup $6 ff was and add-on. NO longer serve rolls before the meal, but the real kicker was at the end, they stopped serving desert as part of the meal, no Strudel or Cheesecake.
I don't think Tariff's did this, but $65 with a tip is a little pricey for lunch, with nothing before or after the meal, won't be back.

I really wish for another one of their wonderful sandwiches, please. The delicatessen makes great, large batches for the deli. I ask for large sides for take out and home.
I ask for extra of their wonderful sauce on the side. What do I do with such a large sandwich? How does the deli put together such a wonderful simple combination? I choose to eat the full sandwich for and between lunch and early dinner.

I really wish their deli area would consider carrying a small tiered basket assortment of different hand made and gourmet sweet candy bag convenient options for local area trying and pick up.

All the nice meat on the full sandwich encourages me to enjoy some nice, sweet candy piece for dessert. The Sweet Pete’s candy pieces I think on are only available in small box and bag. What nice, magical individually wrapped lollipop pieces!
I wish there was less of their wonderful meat on the sandwich.

The Brisket Potato pancakes was good but very greasy and the potato pancakes had no flavor they were diced frozen potatoes and deep fried but very greasy and no flavor I also question if the meet was brisket or roast beef you don't serve Au juice with brisket my mom had an open face turkey sandwich which was not that great they where supposed to used like turkey sandwich meat but instead they used an piece of turkey that they put on a a sliced piece of bread that was cooked on a grill or pan fried also really expensive compared to the last owners

Similar to what so many others are saying, here. This place just isnt what it used to be. After 20+ years, I can't see myself going back :(. No bread baskets, food quality has suffered, no cheesecake included. Dining room appears/ feels run down, missing decorations, empty parking lot. No condiments on table. Although they may try to be keeping prices down, they have done away with a lot of the things people LOVED about the place. Also note, 2 people in my party got $24 brisket dinners, and both had to pay $3 extra to get one Brioche bun. Sad and disappointing to see your once favorite place now upcharging for things.
...the beginning of the end, I fear.

Each if the 4 if us had different meals. All if them were very good and fulfilling. Unfortunately, we were too full to have their desserts. Lol We'll be back for those! Definitely give this place a try.

After a long absence from the lucky dill we ate there today. I know it is under new ownership. I had my usual. A hot pastrami on white with Cole slaw and tea. Bread was marginal but the meat , while very generous was so dry I hardly could eat it. Added mustard but that really didn’t help. And it was priced quite high. Sorry to say I won’t be going back.

Not the Lucky Dill it was years ago. Food was subpar at best. Only 1 person in our party enjoyed the food. The service was decent. The bakery was also hit or miss. Some things were good others stale and bland. Prices are steep for the small portion. As other have said no bread basket and no dessert included.
