The corned beef and pastrami in my Reuben combo had obviously been reheated on a grill (fried) and had been cut with the grain rather than against resulting in a tough chew.

Blaring music. Frigid air blowing on legs & head. Priced high for the value. Will not go again.

This place has turned into a huge disappointment. They used to provide rolls and butter for appetizer but that has been stopped. The sandwiches dont have nearly as much meat as they used to but amazingly, their prices have increased significantly. We used to brag on this place and take people to Lucky Dill who have never experienced it and this is a drive for us from Spring Hill but I can honestly tell you we will never be back. The other disappointment was the bakery side. No bagels for sale anymore. Huge disappointment.

I've been coming here for years. If you love New York deli food, there is no better place in the area. The portions are huge in the service is good

Local favorite for New York Deli Style food and sandwiches. Not quite the same as being in New York City but very good for Florida! There is a bakery attached where I felt many of the items look better then they actually are. That's not to say they are not delicious, just not as impressive as they look.

Met a friend here, and we both like our sandwiches.
The attached Brooklyn bakery was a big disappointment. I purchased a sampling of the cookies, thinking, how could I go wrong? Well, most of the cookies were not fresh. Most were clearly old and tasted stale. They had to be sitting in that case for several days. You'll get better holiday cookies at Publix.

I was here right after new ownership took over a few years ago. It was awful and I vowed to never return. Well, I decided to try one more time.
This time the service was much better. Prompt and friendly.
It's all downhill after that. The place still leaves alot to be desired on the cleanliness side.
The turkey dinner was absolutely awful. The gravy was tasteless, the turkey was closer to eating salt off of a spoon. The mashed potatoes were hard like a rock. I will give kudos for the sweet potatoes and green beans. They both tasted pretty good. But not enough to save the meal.
As for portions. I'll say adequate for the prices they now charge. I understand everything has gone up in price, but have talked to others who noted reduced portion sizes to go along with much higher prices
I didn't bother to complain as I now know I will not return. I truly miss the old Lucky Dill. They had great tasting food and a great selection years ago.

This place has definitely gone downhill while their prices go up. $100 for lunch for small portions and over cooked food. The hamburger were burnt. Would no longer recommend eating here.

The old dill is dead. Nobody in restaurant Saturday night at 7. Service beyond slow. Food TERRIBLE at best. So sad was one of the best around. It won’t survive much longer at this level

I would leave no stars if I could ! I purchased an order from the bakery for $45.14 this afternoon and I gave a $1 tip , I come home and look on my transactions and the lucky dill have charged 56.14 giving themselves a $10 tip. I called and the very rude person that answered said that there was no way that was done . They put the manager on the phone and he reiterated that the overcharge did not occur . It did occur or how else would I be charged $10 extra ! I will dispute with my bank . I used to love this place it has truly gone down hill is the past few years . I will never be going there again and my baked goods were also
Very dry and not worth the money ! Not nice to steal from patrons :( Merry Christmas Lucky Dill

Quality of food is not what it once was. Menu is completely different than in previous years. The hot pastrami was nothing but fat, very low quality. In the padt it was definitely the best around but not any longer.

My last visit was not so good. The dressing changed on the Waldorf salad. I will not be ordering that ever again. But my biggest disappointment was you no longer serve rolls. I do not care about no cheesecake. That actually makes good business sense considering you run a bakery in house. But charging me $19 for a salad and not serving rolls on the side is asking too much. Next time I consider going out for lunch you can bet I will not suggest Lucky Dill. I think you guys are cutting back to drastically. And when we left the restaurant at 5 pm the dining room had only 1 other table. When I told people of my experience I was shocked that they had heard the same kind of story from other people. Do better guys or your days are numbered.

Used to come here all the time. The corn beef and cabbage was one of our favorites. My dad offered to take my husband and I for dinner for our birthdays. I was excited to revisit The Lucky Dill and have my favorite dish! Unfortunately we were surprised to see such a short menu as we were used to seeing such a large selection. Another disappointment was no more rolls offered to our table. We ordered the usual, beef and cabbage and how disappointed we were. The corn beef was very dry, the cabbage portion was cut in half and the once baby carrots were changed to diced carrots that tasted as if they were frozen. Completely different from what we used to get. No more cheesecake slice for dessert was our last straw! Too many other great choices to choose in the surrounding area. Bye bye Lucky Dill, it was nice when things were good! :/

We went in last night (Saturday night) and couldn't figure out why we were the ONLY table in there. We quickly realized why. I will say the food we had was great! Just not the same experience as before. They used to give you bread before hand and a little piece of cheesecake after. So not only did they cut the frills but they raised the prices. We got the Reuben which was huge as always but then they give you literally 3 bites of potato salad. Their menu used to be a whole book of options which was cut down to about 2/3 pages. We chose lucky dill because they usually make it look so beautiful during Christmas time but unfortunately that was not the case this year. The service was good. Our server was very attentive, probably because we were her only table.

Always wanted to come here. I see that their sandwiches are huge, so I opted to get a half Cuban Rueben and soup. If the full sandwiches are larger than normal, then you would think the half sandwich would be larger than a typical half sandwich. This was $19 and I was still hungry.
