They have some great fried mahi Sandwiches here and I also really enjoy their coleslaw. Very laid back/Florida vibes- great live music on certain days!

Thank you Tom and Jack!!! Some bartenders pour great drinks. These two pour care. They’ve become real friends to my husband, our friends, and me — the kind of people who make a place feel like home. When we finally came back after being gone for a bit, they showed us a literal tally they’d been keeping behind the register of how many weeks we hadn’t been in… because they were genuinely worried and missed us. That kind of kindness and connection is rare. The drinks are always perfect, the laughs are endless, and the care they show goes way beyond the bar top. This place wouldn’t be the same without them. Forever grateful for bartenders who turn a bar into a community. 💙🍻

Used to be regulars until they added an automatic 20% service fee. While they state that this all goes to the staff, what they do not tell you according to multiple servers is that when they instituted this policy (again according to servers) they reduced server base pay down to $1 per hour to save payroll costs. Gratuities in my humble opinion should not be automatic but should be determined by the quality of service rendered, which has now deteriorated significantly. Too bad as the Thirsty Marlin was a longtime favorite.

All the food was awesome and friendly staff! They do awesome hook n cook. We brought in our own caught Keys lobster
Thirsty marlin used to be the place to go, it's been slow lately just like the rest of downtown palm harbor...we both need to step up....customers need to spend more money and time there and they need to be on top of there game all the time and make a few changes and a few updates

Went at lunch on a Wednesday and still had lousy service. Maybe 3other tables still only saw server when placing order and at bill time. So service was poor. But food wasn’t just okay (Baja Tacos). Just be WARNED they AUTOMATICALLY ADD 20% Gratuities onto bill.!!! Won’t be going back anytime soon! 2 taco lunches were $60 with ADDED Gratuity.

Used to love coming here back in the day but everything about this place has slowly changed. They always had a 20% service charge even if the service wasn’t great. Food tasted like it went from the freezer to the fryer. The decor was very dive bar. I won’t be back, it must be hard having crabbys across the street
