I consider myself a bit of a sushi connoisseur, so I'm not easily impressed. Sushi Bay, run by the very cool Chef Kenny, is on par with some of the best I've had. The attention to detail and impressive traditional presentation is what I look for in a sushi restaurant. Kenny's talented. Simply put. He only uses the finest quality fish and ingredients and always strives to give his guests the best possible experience. Outside of this hidden gem, you can't get a meal this good without paying the big bucks on Sobe or in Brickell. Luckily for us in Palmetto Bay, we have Sushi Bay.

I can’t say enough good things about this sushi spot! The vegan sushi is absolutely out of this world—so fresh and creative. What really makes it special is Kenny, the chef, who knows me by name and remembers all my vegan preferences.
Kenny is a true artist in the kitchen, and his passion for crafting delicious vegan options shines through in every dish. I love coming here not just for the incredible food, but for the warm atmosphere he creates. He always remembers my favorites and makes me feel like part of the family. If you’re a sushi lover, especially vegan, you’ve got to check this place out!

We wanted to try a new place and found Sushi Bay. Place was empty because of the football game. I'm so glad we went- the sushi was outstanding and so fresh. The chef was engaging and made us feel so welcome. We are definitely coming back soon. This is our new sushi place.

I googled “best sushi” near me and this was the highest rated place. I’ve once we arrived I realized I had been here years ago when it was a different sushi restaurant.
We were the first customers to arrive right as they opened at 6:30. We got the VIP treatment! We met the chef, Kenny and the waitress, Sydney (I apologize if I misspelled your name). They were both so friendly and kind. It was great getting to know them.
They have a wide variety of wines and sake. I had a glass of the Pinot Grigio. My husband had a Japanese beer that he’d never heard of, but really liked. We were offered an organic cucumber salad as a free starter, but I personally don’t like sweetened cucumbers. Give it a try if you’re into that.
For dinner we shared the sashimi platter, the orgasm roll, and a roll with 4 tuna pieces and 4 sushi pieces. Everything was SO GOOD! I highly recommend the orgasm roll! The fish was fresh, tasty and perfectly mixed with the other ingredients to create a delicious and delightful experience!
Our chef, Kenny, also preforms on the guitar when he gets the opportunity. We didn’t have the pleasure of hearing him play that night. Hopefully soon.

A hidden gem! I have sushi often - Sushi Bay can hang with the best of ‘em. ?? Such great quality and good prices. The fish was so fresh and delicious. Kenny, the owner, pays so much attention to detail in his food and works hard to make sure your preferences, allergies, etc are taken into account. All around a really kind and friendly guy - makes you feel like a regular even just coming to grab takeout for the first time :)
