After reading all the terrible reviews I didn’t know what to expect at Walters. Our experience was a good one. We went around 10 on a Sunday & were seated immediately by a very pleasant host. The place has been completely redone & expanded. It’s got a great look & vibe. Our server, Dani, came right over & could not have been nicer. She would be an asset to any restaurant!! The food was good & lots of it. I really think it’s all about the experience that you have when you go. I would recommend going there to anyone.

I went the other day before my emt shift for breakfast and little do I know I eat the 2nd half of my wrap the next day and there’s bone in it, got damn they don’t have any respect for themselves the place should shut down. See you next time.

The reason I gave it a 1 star because of false advertising. I ordered a hot chocolate with whipped cream which comes out as $3.95. I asked the waiter with what liquid do they prepare the hot chocolate with, milk or water? He responded with water. I asked him if they can please make mine with milk. He said yes but there will be a milk charge. I said, I’m fine with that. So when I get my bill, I see a .57 cent charge for whipped cream. Mind you, the menu already stated that the hot chocolate comes already with whipped cream. They never took out the difference and the waiter just stated that they charge for EVERYTHING. I’m not a first time customer but after today, I will not step inside this establishment again. I’m not mad for .57 cent. Is the principal. It’s like saying they are selling a hamburger with fries for $10 but when you get your bill they charged you an extra $5 for fries. That is called FALSE ADVERTISING. This was the most expensive hot chocolate I ever paid in my life.

Went to Walter's twice in a period of four days, First trip I tried the "Eggs Benedict". The hollandaise sauce missed the mark - not buttery enough and you couldn't taste the lemon at all. Second visit, my breakfast choice was an old breakfast standard - two eggs over easy (a little too easy), bacon, home fries, toast, and coffee. Both times, the breakfast was tasty with the home fries being the best. The wait was short both times and the service was spot on!
Usually great! Beloved for many years, seems to be declining in food quality. Kinda greasy, not in the good way. Good service though.

We almost didn’t go to Walter’s based on the poor 2021 reviews on trip advisor, That would have been a mistake! We took into account that the COVID pandemic has affected many businesses in the area and being short on staff can affect quality and service. So we wanted to give it our honest review regardless of what we found. The sign on the door said they were hiring servers and cooks, so we were prepared. The place was full but we secured two spots at the counter. The place was very clean, multiple televisions on different channels kept us entertained as we placed our order and waited for our food. Everything was delicious, served hot and within a very short wait time. They filled our coffee twice and checked in with us multiple times. Very good hot coffee! Cheese grits delicious! Greek omelette was worth the trip…and the blueberry pancakes are definitely worth writing about! Everything (pancakes, grits, toast) comes with a tower of butter so for those watching their arteries, just be sure to ask for all the butter on the side! Will definitely visit again and add to our South Florida hidden diner gems!

My wife and I dined at your restaurant and ordered "the usual". Sadly the potatoes were so salty and over spiced that they were not edible. The kitchen was having some issues and the wait time to get our order was about 45 minutes. Our first visit there was VERY disappointing. The waitress (in the outside dining area) was delightful. She did the best job that she could under difficult conditions.

I am sorry they are short handed. But 35 minutes for a bagel is inexcusable. Plus the 15 minutes before I got anyone to get me a menu. Work ethic in the US is in the toilet. No shows up!
