We had a lovely dinner. Food was amazing. Salad came out with dinner which was unexpected, but everything was delicious. Our server was also a bartender, that was noticeable but not bad just not as attentive.
The steak was overcooked and dry. I question if it was truly wagyu. The potatoes where supposed to be whipped but the were chunky. It took 45 min to get our appetizer oysters Rockefeller . Than it took another hour to get a sushi roll and our entree. The server well busboy/Sever assistant who was our server did his best and was very apologetic. Kudos to him for trying ,but he can't control everything. We saw no manager helping in any capacity, and it wasn't even busy for a saturday night. The kicker is our bill was close to 300 with tip. Truly overpriced for the quality of food and quality of service. Definitely will not be going back or recommending this place even with the great view.. I never leave reviews like this but the Marriott should be ashamed we had high hopes and this place crashed and burned.
Limited menu. View were not spectatular. A bit chilly inside. Must be escorted by an emploee to get there.
The wine glass was spotted with water marks. The steak sandwich had several pieces of gristle. The young server could not handle the banana foster dessert. And the check was served to us with errors in it. Disappointed with this visit.
We had a great experience at Oyster River. The view was gorgeous as we watched the sun set. Food was delicious, oysters, tuna tataki, grouper sliders. Our waiter Gabriel was super . Can't wait to go back.
James our server was great very attentive, my food was excellent, my husband was not happy with his 4 small scallops and a huge bowl of fettuccine. Noise level was off the chart. Also people brought dogs in through the restaurant and no they were pets not service animals. For a higher end restaurant animals do not belong .
Food and drinks were just ok; no complaints about the service; the view is great

Restaurant went above and beyond to make our anniversary dinner beyond special. Very intimate and romantic. Food was excellent. We really enjoyed the salmon roll and lobster Mac and cheese that we got. The key lime was also fantastic. It did not have a crust but I didn't even miss it. Thanks for an amazing experience, Liz!
We loved the food!! The views were amazing and our service was wonderful!! We will definitely being going back!!

We loved every minute of our evening there. James was the best waiter I've had in years. The view was beautiful as was the sunset. The food was exceptional. Prices weren't nearly as high as I had first heard. We will be back for our next special occasion.
Was pleasantly surprised of how well we were taken care of. In addition, the food was absolutely amazing. So glad I saw a post on Instagram about this restaurant. Definitely will return
Four of us enjoyed a corner table with great views. I ordered Chilean Seabass, which was not only perfectly prepared, but the presentation was artistic. The hot Beurre Blanc creamy turnip puree, peppered with pistachio dust, rimmed the entree with a mild sweetness. Two other guests had the shrimp and grits, a southern favorite they both liked very much. My grandson had a glorious 8oz Wagyu Burger with caramelized onions and truffle potato chips. Our server was very attentive too! After dinner, we stepped onto the balcony for pictures and when the weather is cooler, that could be a great place to meet friends for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres at an outdoor table, or comfortable sofa seating.
We were excited to try this rooftop restaurant. You need permission by the staff at the hotel to take the elevator to get to the restaurant. Gabriel made us welcome at our reserved table. Bar stock was a little light but we made due. The ladies had expresso martinis and enjoyed them. The bisque was good but not in my top five. The presentation was unique but the volume was rather unimpressive. The chicken meals were also weak. No flavor or size. My 3 scallops were tasty. The sunset could make up the difference but the view of the trailer parks negated that.
We were pleasantly surprised by the overall quality and taste of the food. Our appetizers and entrees were exceptionally prepared and had vibrant taste. The ambience and view was fantastic. The only disappointing aspect of our dining experience was the service. On several occasions during our nearly 2 hours of dining, we were left unattended and felt ignored. We look forward to dining there again, but hope the service will be greatly improved.
