Fun little fruit stand and grill. Absolute best Cuban sandwich on planet earth. Cuban bread is always fresh. Seriously! Reuben Cuban is a close second. Deserts are also tasty, we try and visit for quick lunch or dinner weekly.

Part bakery part deli. This little sandwich and dessert shop is tucked into the back of a fruit stand with a BBQ joint dangling off the side. I have eaten here three times i the two weeks since I discovered it. Apparently it is known by multiple names so don’t be discouraged. Think of it as a treasure hunt. The folks behind the counter vary from Grand mothers to a biker dude. They will tell you different things about which of them makes the best pie. Get the Cuban sandwich and a personal pineapple upside down cake. Then experiment with some of the other choices when you come back. After two or three Cubans get the half smoked chicken from the BBQ guys and a cherry pie.

Strawberry shortcake and pies are fantastic. They also make a pretty good Cuban sandwich. Produce is always affordable.

We just visited and I had to pull over and eat!!!! My son got a homemade pie which I didn't get a picture of lol. I got a Cuban and pineapple upside down cake which is my weakness!!! I was treated to a strawberry shortcake and omg I started in the store and like I said had to pull over. The Cuban was the best you can have no complaint. We will be back. Thanks ???????

I stop by this place quite often. The ladies are always friendly and accomodating to my 'special requests'! I have never tried the numberous home made pies they have, they all look delicious - but I cannot say how good they are. I have eaten the cookies and they are delicious as well. The cuban is a true cuban / not cobbled up on a hoagie roll or sub roll - on cuban bread / pressed. 'Traditional' means mustard and pickles besides the meats. I ask for the mustard / mayo mix and extra pickles.

I have not bought anything in the Garden bi=ut have bought from their produce stand. Not good, The corn was not fresh and the tomatoes the same. Won't go back.
Quick stop for tasty sandwiches and great selection of homemade popular pies. Even enjoyed the boiled peanuts to take out.

I was there today and have been going to this place for lunch once a month or so since 2015. The two ladies behind the counter are always friendly, and the place is spic and span. (By the way if the gentleman from the 2017 review called them elderly he must have been in his 20s.) When I get sandwiches for my office at The Garden, they always get rave reviews. As I said in my previous review, this place is a jewel and a great locally owned spot. Also a great place for fresh produce.

Was just there, the two elderly ladies behind the counter were extremely rude to us and another customer, over their own mistakes. Tried to pass off old food that had been sitting in the warmer that another customer had ordered, sorry we did not want his old leftovers and expected fresh food. They both rolled their eyes, made smart comments and then got mad at the customer beside us because she explicitly asked for no pickles, but they made with them anyway, then asked do you care if I just take them off... Wow this is Not way to treat your customers, this is probably why Your not busy. I felt horrible for the lady next to me, when she mentioned the pickles, the OWNWER/ EMPLOYEE through het sandwich on the counter then used her dirty hands and slammed a new sandwich on the press machine. Our food was suppose to be hot and toasted, but it was cold and bread was soft.Shocking that you are still in business. Will not be back, it's a shame because these mom and popp places really need locals to survive.Next time you treat another customer bad, rude, or give old food, think about that without customers you have no business. So now We will take all of our business to Detweilers!
