One of the top-end seafood restaurant in the panhandle - well worth the drive to the coast. Enjoy large portions of fresh seafood from the Gulf of Mexico with in-house made salad dressings, tartar sauce, & dipping sauces. Professional, friendly service by all of the employees. When the weather is nice, enjoy a meal on the deck overlooking the bay.

They open at 4:30p and we arrived at 4:35 to finding already a waiting list as they were metering people in based on seating preference. it's a beautiful place adorned with pecky cypress inside snd overlooking Ochlockonee Bay. Diners may be seated inside or outside. The hostess was sweet and adorable, as was our server, who was low-key, but quietly efficient and attentive. We had fried onion rings ("sliced when you order") appetizer. They were too heavily breaded and seemed like maybe air fried because virtually no oil or moisture, rendering little taste. we did not enjoy them and did not eat all. We ordered fried shrimp and oyster combo with salad upgraded to small Greek style along with black beans and rice. (We knew oyster order was risky because few restaurants cook them well.) As we feared, oysters were heavily breaded and way overcooked. I could tell at a glance when the plate arrived. Great disappointment. Shrimp seemed to have little or no salt/seasoning in the breading and were just slightly overcooked. We ate all, but did not really enjoy them. My partner usually enjoys dipping hushpuppies in cocktail sauce, but these puppies were only fair and she wondered why a nice seafood restaurant served such weak, bland sauce. Black beans and rice was yellow rice in a cup/bowl seemingly with other ingredient. Pretty good, but not great. The small Greek salad and (I think) their own house dressing was delicious. Best part of the meal. I occasionally eat at a few other small local seafood restaurants in the vicinity and though none can match this ambiance, all have much better fried seafood. I have relatives wanting to try Angelo's during next visit because they love waterfront dining. I'll likely go with them and try broiled fish and different sides. Otherwise, as much as I love gorgeous pecky cypress, no reason to return.

This place is all the rage... apparently. Clean. Nice view and friendly service, but the food fell flat for me. Nothing wrong, but just fried seafood. Since I live on the Gulf and can get grilled/blackened/fried EVERYWHERE, I had the shrimp creole (a "house specialty ") for a twist. Not much about which to get excited besides some shrimp and tomatoes. Not bad but not great. This place fills up fast so get there early. I just don't get the buzz other than it's a local business and the only option around. I'd go back but only out of convenience.

Great view, great service that is very friendly and fast. Amazing food everything we got was cooked perfectly and the cherry on top was buying a couple pieces of beautiful jewelry from the jewelry shop located inside.

Beautiful location with sunset views. Some of the food, especially the grouper was very good, others not so much. Also, expensive in my mind for the food and level of dining. Excellent service and food came out in a timely fashion. They were out of a few menu items which we had wanted to try which was disappointing. Very large menu so I would recommend sticking with the fresh fish and order simpler items.

The food was definitely not as good as usual. There was no seasoning on anything. Asked and found out Angelo no longer owns the place, so that explains it. Unfortunately we won't be back. We will miss it .

Waited a long time for our party of 8 to be seated. Waited longer for drink orders to be taken. Waited longer still for our dinner orders to be taken and more waiting to receive dried out pasta dishes for half our party and I didn't ever get the entrée I ordered but got the sides of soup and salad which I was charged full price for. Will not be coming back
