The food has been really good both times I've been here. Price is a bit high for me, but we were taken out by a friend. It was around 130 including tip for 3 meals, 3 teas. You do get a decent amount of seafood with everything we have ate there. Very fresh tasting. Hot, and just good. If you can spend a bit more it is worth a try. Most of the staff I have encountered in two visits have been friendly, and kept our glasses full.

Hospitality and service were excellent, and the food was delicious. The portions were large. In addition to seafood, they offer daily plate lunches. We had gumbo, gator bites, grilled shrimp, fried shrimp, and chicken tenders. Everything was freshly cooked and promptly served.

The crab cake is divine

Best seafood place in the entire State of Florida that I know of. The hush puppies are the best of all the hundreds I've tried over the years. Love the blue crab claws with garlic butter. The seafood platter is an excellent mix for my family to share. Great cocktail sauce too. The only critique I have is their tartar sauce. In my opinion the ratio of relish to Mayo isn't right. I feel it needs more relish and a small squeeze of yellow mustard.

Do not skip the key lime pie, y'all. Hands down, in the best way possible, unexpectedly surprised to have been served a slice of homemade key lime pie. We were not expecting that from a seafood restaurant.
The oysters, scallops, shrimp, and fish were very well seasoned and delicious. The crab cakes, y'all don't skip those either. They are fresh from the dock that's for sure.

Blackened shrimp was the best I’ve ever had. Perfection! Hushpuppies were also excellent. I didn’t love the grits but my picky 2-year-old ate nothing but. I wish the place had some windows or an outdoor seating area but I’ll still be swinging by to eat some of that blackened shrimp regardless.

An old school Florida fish joint, in the best way. The fried shrimp, oysters, and grouper are fresh, flash fried to perfection, but my single favorite item is their homemade coleslaw, which is shredded by hand like it used to be, and is just perfection. My grandchildren love their hamburgers, which are large and grilled. The decor is fish joint practical, but clean, and waitresses are friendly and fast. The owner is often, if not always, on site, and she runs a tight ship. I’ve never ordered the fried chicken but have a foodie friend who swears by it. Posey’s is a favorite with locals and there is a genuine air of friendliness.

Kid-friendliness: Grandchildren love it.
