Popped in for lunch on Saturday. Was not expecting it to be brunch, so I was slightly disappointed. But, let me tell you. That quickly changed. When I tell you this was the best brunch I've ever had, I mean it. I had the cinnamon roll with a side of bacon. My husband had French toast with a side of bacon. Now, I was expecting a single cinnamon roll, maybe two. My jaw dropped when they brought my plate of multiple rolls.... BEST. CINNAMON. ROLLS.EVER. They had a slight crisp/crunch to the outer and a perfect balance of gooey goodness and cinnamon heaven. And the side of bacon? I was expecting the typical 2-4 slices. But, no....it was a bowl full. I had to get a box because I could not eat all of my brunch. This was my first time trying this place, but it won't be my last. I can't speak of their regular menu, but brunch was seriously the best!
We love the atmosphere, delicious food and fabulous cocktails! If you’re lucky Kevin will be working, he is the absolute best! So happy the docks have been restored so we can boat there!
This goes for the cheese grits, sausage, shrimp, and crab balls. For a on the water seafood restaurant. I rate this platter a 2. If you are going to make your prices high. You have to serve quality food. Mom and Pop restaurant's blow this place out the water. Your chef is wrong. Again, this is only for this platter that I ordered.

Overall very good. My entree the rice was undercooked, but everything else was amazing... service great and love the layout and atmosphere... water views also amazing... I'm sure they would have gotten me something else but I didn't go there...

Wonderful brunch, with old favorites and some intriguing twists. Love the decor in the round dining room! Like being inside an aquarium. Great complement to a visit with Gulf Specimen a couple blocks away. I plan to go back and try the lunch menu soon.

Long story short. Great food! Horrible and rude service. Waiting for water (received it after others who arrived after us received theirs). Waiting for drink order. Waiting for drinks. Waiting to order. Waiting for refills. Ordered second drinks and received all but 1 (glass of wine) which was on the tray and the server gave it to another table. Our waitress even admitted it was ours and it took awhile to receive another. Slammed plate on table when delivered my food. I’ll be back but I will certainly talk to the manager if this happens again. Luckily I was with great company. We were all shocked at her rudeness!

I had high hopes for this place. Being a local chef, I refrained from commenting but now I'm not local (grin). After waiting an hour and half, while listening to 3 different kinds of music the whole time (live bar, radio from kitchen, piped in music in the dining room), we were seated in the main dining room. Nicely decorated. The food was lifeless and bland. I was expecting so much more. Poorly seasoned and lukewarm, I would not recommend this place until some major changes were made. Great location, just mediocre food and terrible service.

Great Sunday Brunch, great quality and value
This place has yet to disappointment me for brunch.
The chicken was fried nicely and the biscuit is so good! The crab balls are a bit rich but still good. I really like the texture of the grits and I can’t refuse a pineapple mimosa!
It’s been a while since we were last here but we just discovered the bar downstairs and we’re ready to give that place a try too!

Kept hearing a lot of people talking about the brunch at Trident and I now know what all the hype is about! The food was so full of flavor!!!!!! The service on the other had not the best. I had the ask the server for water 3 times and the. When she finally came she gave everyone at my table a refill except me…the one who was actually asking for the refill! Will be back for the food!!!
