Beach House of Gulf highlands

This place was great!! Staff very attentive, courteous and prompt. The owner was very engaging and friendly. Food was terrific! Very clean and positive atmosphere.

Beach House was once a wonderful and exclusive place for Gulf Highlands residents and renters. I'm unsure why the very misguided Board decided to sell space here to a restaurant that reeks of an unchanged grease trap noticeable from across the street like a poor diner; trash cans overflowing with garbage lined up in plain sight; outdoor bathrooms that must stay open because they now reek of baked urine; open boxes, styrofoam, and packing material on the front porch facing Front Beach Rd.; and 29-year-old male staff repeatedly and openly flirting with preteen or barely adolescent girls occupying the canopy and roof (where apparently decades-long owners at Gulf Highlands are no longer welcome).

Grease trap. Creepy. The board at Gulf Highlands Resort has clearly lost its mind to lease or sell this space to some mediocre fried food shop.

Just getting more and more redneck like the Atlantic coast. We're going to start renting our unit—for these and a few other maintenance reasons—rather than enjoy it ourselves.

The grandeur is far gone.

Good news is the 12 - 15 year old girls the 26 - 33 year old male waiter kept flirting with "really enjoyed" the fries.

I asked a waitress—apparently the owner's wife—to please control the drunk patrons from across the road at the Liq. They were loudly talking about women in an inappropriate way. When she became defensive, I told her there were open boxes, styrofoam, trash, and packing material all over and near the porch facing the road.

That waitress is apparently the owner's wife. His name is Mike. Mike decided it was appropriate to scream homophobic slurs at me, cuss me, and demanded that I police his patrons' family-unfriendly behavior at his establishment rather than he, his wife, or staff.

They have a history of repeatedly failing food inspections for rodent droppings, roaches, dangerous food storage and preparation, etc.—all of which are verifiable by a quick Google search.

I recorded Mike verbally assaulting me and at one juncture had to tell him that if he did not leave me alone I would call the police. He continued to scream at me as I crossed the street.

Dwayne and Kashi are so awesome !! Very friendly , we didn't want to leave, the blt and chicken wings, were delicious !! Chocolate chip cookies are the best I have ever had !! And a was a bakery manager for 15 years !! Thank you cajun chicks !! Can't wait to come back to

The service here is horrible! I can’t tell you how the food is never got to order. Do yourself a favor go somewhere else. I came in and noticed that everyone was standing at the bar or register which made me think you have to order from there. I waited patiently in line for my turn only to get to the front of the line and the man said I have two more in front of you lol I asked the man at the bar if he could take orders he said no I get off in a few minutes. I ask the guy hey if I sit down will you be able to come take my order I was told no and ask if the guy at the bar could take my order at this point that’s a sign that we don’t need to eat in this establishment. I get that you’re the only restaurant right there that’s open so I’m sure you figure customer service isn’t important. I would rather drive before I spend a dime in this place.

Dwayne and Shawn did an amazing job taking care of us. Unbelievably amazing service, kindness and hospitality. The food/drinks were great for both breakfast and lunch and they will bend over backwards to satisfy their customers. Also upstairs has an AMAZING view of the water.

The service was on point. Gumbo was excellent as well as the potato salad. The view was unbelievable.

We felt very safe.Walkability: All of the pools and beach are a quick walk away. There are many stores and restaurants you can walk to as well!Food & drinks: Delicious food and drinks at the clubhouse by the beach!

Great place right on the beach. Grab a bite to eat with a cold beer and sit by the pool. Nice place to be.

The pool and outdoor bathrooms are open to guest, but the actual beach house was closed during our stay due to renovations.

Love it really nice place

We stayed at Gulf Highlands 124 Abbie Lane PCB and just wanted to let others know what to expect. It's filthy, roaches (I lost count after 12 in a 3 1/2 day stay) and personally I would never stay there again. Vacasa isn't much help either. I contacted them and they claimed they would refund 117.79. When they did this they actually charged me instead of crediting me. My dog that we took with us was almost attacked by another dog that was just let out without a leash. They say if pets are outside they have to be on a leash. This was the worst vacation ever.
