Best restaurant in PCB in my opinion. Been snowbirds for 6 weeks in the area, and have visited this place 4 times. The oyster sampler is delicious, as is the Monte Cristo sandwich, fried chicken sandwich and beignets. Great service, quick food delivery to table, and very reasonably priced.

Absolutely love this place. Everything I have had is excellent. Staff is super nice. The bartenders, Danny and Jake, make my day that much better. Thanks for the great food and time. I found a gem in PCB.

Caroline was an awesome server - I like to always share our server experience b/c that sets the tone for the overall lunch experience . She was very attentive, informative & made some good recommendations for us .
The food presentation was great - I had the grilled fish with the creole tomato red sauce over rice - it was delicious , I just wish it was served with some type of bread (but I was able to get some Bread later into my meal) the Hubbie had some with his meal - the fish was fried to perfection on the fish baskets, the guys said the red beans were good, the crawfish tower cakes she said was delicious with the fried green tomatoes . The tea was good as well. The atmosphere was perfect , several Options to watch on tv. It reminded us somewhat of back Home (Louisiana) in a sports restaurant.. the gumbo just wasn’t that La style roux - it was too dark & very strong - wasn’t what we were expecting . I’d rate the Gumbo a 2/10 - everything else was great .
My BNL had the RedBeans & rice as a side to his fried fish basket & enjoyed it - now, my husband ordered the fish poboy & gumbo (didn’t like the gumbo) swapped it out for the bisque which was good - now the poboy was really really small it literally was like a subway kids mini sub size , he had to order an additional meal . 🤦🏽‍♀️

If you like “ Golden Corral” quality food then this is the place for you. I was highly disappointed in it.
Ordered the Fish Orleans. The cream sauce was a water based cream sauce and was not good at all, and the rice it was served on was not cooked, bout broke a tooth.
The red beans were plain as a can of beans over some rice.
The tacos were nothing special. Again, no flavor.
Cajun food is about character and flavor and this had neither. I would have been mad if I had to wait over 30 mins for the food that I got.
On a good note, the beer was cold and the band was good.
I will not come back here.
Bayou on the Beach was much better.

We were visiting from out of town pleasure of visiting this location. We went twice in two days. Josh was an amazing bartender and server at the oyster bar. On our second visit, we had tiff as our server and she was amazing recommending great sandwiches and amazing service 10 out of 10 who would recommend this place best prices for seafood and an amazing local find.

Second time we stopped on our visit to PCB. The charbroiled oysters were excellent. Perfectly cooked. My husband enjoyed his creole style snapper. The fried oysters/ shrimp basket was also excellent. Just the right amount of seasoning and cook. Sides-good. Service was served with a smile. Fair prices. Live music both inside and out. Recommend this place for seafood with a cajun twist.

Was not my thing personally, I prefer quiter restaurants that are less crowded. However if you're into a rowdy country sports bar with live music and quick service, its absolutely the place to be. The food was absoultly delicious, the crawfish etouffee and boudin balls were to die for.

Absolutely phenominal food - this is definitely a seafood place in PCB locals frequent. Good prices (not price gouged like of the other local seafood places), and always great service!

We went to Dat Cajun Place for Super Bowl Sunday and had a fantastic time! There are lots of TV screens to catch the game, including a huge one at the big U-shaped bar. We enjoyed the $0.50 wings special with both Dat Special Sauce and Dat Special Dry Rub—absolutely delicious. Drinks were very affordable. Our server, Michelle T., was fantastic; even though she was busy, she took great care of us. The bread pudding with rum sauce was enormous and decadent—we were in heaven. We would certainly visit again!

Came here to eat with a large group, our waitperson Michelle was awesome. Had seen another review about the key lime pie, should have listened. It’s about an inch high and the green gel drizzled over it is AWEFUL, don’t waste your money. Oysters and crawfish are yummy as well as the gumbo. But the worst part as we sat down was that there was a band (I had no idea there was one) I have no objection to a band in a bar or on the patio, but being inside the restaurant during dinner service is not pleasant. No one at the table could have a conversation with anyone across the table because it was impossible to hear. If the band possibly started at 7 or 8 that would be better.
