Dusty's Oyster Bar

Dusty’s is a great place to eat and has wonderful ambience! I’m afraid their scallops and clams on the grilled seafood platter were over cooked (clams have to be fried).

We sat at the bar. The bartender was not accommodating or have a personality for visitors. I’ve been here before the oysters were amazing. That’s the reason we returned. The oysters are not what they used to be. They are very, very small. I actually had an oyster that had fallen out of the shell. It wasn’t the size of a quarter. I asked if I could have it replaced. And it was! I recommended dusty, but I will not do that again. A couple next to us is complaining as well. We talked amongst ourselves. I gave back my order of fried pickles. I would have been alarmed and asked the customer if there was a problem.

I wish I could tell you more and leave a better review. Here is the reason for 1 star all the way across and it comes down to one simple thing: overlooked. That's right, my wife and I waited over a hour just for the hostess to over look us. She thought we sat at the bar which blows my mind because we told her we are going to wait outside. So that tells me 2 things. 1. She did not listen to us when we said we were going outside and second she didn't even look for us or called our name out. Very disappointed.

We went there for the first time last week. The service overall was amazing! My boyfriend had a burger that he very much enjoyed, I had fried calamari appetizer which was delicious and then the scallops platter. The scallops were amazing, great flavor cooked perfectly! Presentation hands down looked amazing! Will be back for sure. Oh and bring doller bills to decorate lol so cool!

The decor is unique, and I was amazed when I walked in. The raw oysters are excellent, and the clam chowder is delicious; the other food items are just okay. It seems they try to keep things fresh, which may explain why some of the seasoning and batter aren't as flavorful. Nevertheless, the staff and waitresses are friendly and accommodating.

We also visit this restaurant when we come down here every year. The baked oysters never disappoint and menu has plenty of choices for the non- oyster folks. Our server was great and the choices of bar drinks and draft are good.

Try to avoid the rush hour.

Been many times, but this was the last. Food was terrible. Grouper was over cooked and batter hard. Appetizer was not fresh. Waitress never came back to table after food was served. Don’t waste your money.

Dusty’s has really good oysters (they’re more expensive here than the others places we’ve visited - regular and premium options), burgers, chicken tenders, salad, and crab claws. Our hostess and server did a great job taking care of us! Their seating is mostly high top tables, they only have a handful of regular height tables. We preferred to wait until one became available instead of the high top. We would go back if we knew there wouldn’t be a long wait for a table!

Dusty’s is one of a kind! Great food, friendly staff, cool atmosphere! We got the grouper and it was delicious. Side salad and fries were so good. Drink menu has tons of options. The atmosphere is fun and laid back. It’s a classic beach stop that will always be part of our stop ins!

This is hands down one of the best places in PCB. Great service, reasonably priced, great atmosphere, and excellent food. I've had raw oysters from about 7 different places and these continue to be the best.
