I visited Fonville Press Market in Alys Beach and sincerely appreciate the level of effort from the staff. Even though the yellow curry chicken sandwich was no longer on the evening menu and they were technically out of it, the team still made an effort to accommodate the request — that kind of service stands out.The sandwich was served cold, which wasn’t ideal, but the flavor was excellent. The curry profile was well-balanced and genuinely memorable. The space itself is beautiful — clean, bright, and aesthetically designed. It’s easily one of the most photogenic spots in the area and perfect for pictures.Overall, strong flavors and thoughtful service make it worth visiting, especially if you value atmosphere as much as food

Adorable cafe in Alys beach !!🏖️

It wasn’t just good coffee. It was the kind that resets your mood, sharpens your focus, and makes the moment feel elevated. Pure perfection. ☕️

Jason made our experience top notch. He crafted excellent espresso martinis that made our day all the more better. I appreciate his knowledge of the area and kindness to share with us. Fonville is truly a place that feels like a neighborhood cafe - inviting and warm.

Potentially my favorite place on 30a. We stop at least once or twice for breakfast when we’re visiting. Always order the breakfast flatbread and a cinnamon roll warmed up. The ham and cheese croissant and grain bowl are solid options as well. Great selection of specialty snacks and goods. Love the water dispenser and cholula packets. Very friendly service and food is very high quality. This is a must stop for everyone!

Went here multiple times in January during my visit. The staff are extremely friendly (shout out Katie!) and welcomed me doing work on my laptop for multiple hours — of course it was the off season, but much appreciated! Ample outlets, nice seating options, and great food/drink. They have an outdoor area too. Highly recommend.

We have been to Fonville many times. It has a great atmosphere and we have always enjoyed good service and consistently good food and beverages. Love the bagels and the peanut butter pie is especially good.

Food was cold bc they let it sit for five minutes while I stood and watched. Since it’s counter service and guests carry their trays to their tables and clean up after themselves, I didn’t tip as a test. They quickly served those in our party that did tip and let our food get cold. The staff was also incredibly rude.

We’ve been going to Fonville Press since it first opened in its original location at the very west end of Alys. Our last meal yesterday morning was a huge disappointment. The staff were very unfriendly, especially the fellow taking orders for coffee. No greetings, certainly no smiles—kinda like customers were inconveniencing the staff. One women, who was making coffee drinks, laid her entire upper body across the coffee bar while she scrolled on her phone. The food was blah to boot. It’s a huge loss to 30A that Fonville has lost its welcoming neighborhood vibe and it formerly delicious food.

Pretentious prices to match its pretentious location in 30A. Average latte for 30 A prices.

Conveniently located on 30A in Alys Beach, this restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating in a relaxed setting. The menu is simple, featuring mostly salads and sandwiches at reasonable prices, along with drinks and pastries. Outdoor dining is enjoyable for most of the year, though service can be slow even when the crowd is light. Parking is limited, so it’s best to plan on walking or biking rather than driving.
