Not impressed. We used to come here everytime we were in Pier Park, but the past several times have been horrible… the cookies, and pretzel bites (cinnamon sugar) are not the same since the new owners took over..
The cookies were always so soft.. now they taste like they’ve been sitting out for the past 3 days…1/2 the time they’re unable to make smoothies, idk if they’re out of smoothie mix or if the machine is down.. or what.
Sure wish the previous owners would come back! 😭

We used to come here all the time especially since the one in the mall is no longer there. We had been going since the old owners were there. However, since ownership has changed so have the cookies. Unfortunately, the last few times we have gone, the cookies have been stale and hard. We went today and our double doozies were hard as rocks, like barely could be eaten. It's like they had been sitting there and were old. It's tasted similar to this before, but these were the worst. We miss the way the cookies used to taste, but maybe we just haven't gotten lucky the last few times we have gone. Will always give it another try though.

This place is amazing! I got a heart shaped cookie for my sweetheart and it turned out hilarious 😂
The workers were amazing and kind
Got a cookie cake for son’s birthday, had it done in 30 minutes and it was fresh!
I had never been in a Great American Cookies store. While waiting for Dillard's Department store to open at Pier Park, two of us decided a pretzel sounded good. Looking at the directory, Great American Cookies was close, it offered pretzels, we we made the short walk to the store. It was a delightful experience. The pretzels came with a variety of options. Despite the various options, we opted for a regular cup of the plain pretzel bites. These are small, big bite sized pretzels. They are different than the regular pretzels commonly seen in grocery stores and they taste better. They were very fresh. They were soft and cooked to perfection. One cup does not sound like a big order but the two of us split the cup and a coke and we were very satisfied. The pretzels were worth thinking about and returning because they were served hot and fresh and almost melted in the mouth. The staff was very friendly. Other options included a variety of cookies and cakes. The restaurant was very small but very neat, clean and attractively decorated.A small place, a limited menu with food that was perfect, and the atmosphere was enjoyable. It was worth a visit. I am looking forward to going back again!
Need a quick round cookie this morning. Hutchinson Blvd would not do it. Wouldn’t even ask details !! Thank goodness pier park has it in the oven now. It’s a good day!
Holy moly, a Double Doozie and one of their slushees is where it’s at. Great location with plenty of other things to do nearby. We ate across the way at San Marcos recently and I treated myself to a Great American Cookie for dessert. No regrets.
Such a great experience! I live in KY and called trying to get cookies delivered and I believe I was speaking with the owner. He was very very helpful and pleasant to speak with for a birthday delivery for my cousin. Will continue to use this store for future birthdays in my family. I’ll be in Florida soon and will be purchasing again for myself.
Cookies always taste great. The owners are so sweet!

Placed order for a Birthday cookie cake delivery to a family member that lives in PCB. The cake decorating was very poor and did not resemble the photo with a person in the Jeep, wheels that didn’t match, no back brake light, as well as poor choice of lettering and size of lettering not fitting on cookie cake well at all.The recipient said the taste of the cookie was good, but the family all agreed it looked to have been decorated by a very young child.

It's GAC, good selection, end of day, has a bathroom ,what more is there to say? ?
I ordered 3 different kinds of cookies. My Husband's favorite, my son's favorite, and mine. I drove all the way home and realized she did not give me my favorite. The rest of my order was correct but I am so disappointed as I don't like any of the cookies I was given. Atleast my son and Husband are happy but grrrrrrr !
I am fairly certain we were bothering them by entering the Pier Park store. Did the buy 5 and get 1 free deal along with a specialty cookie. We were rudly told the specialty cookie didn't count as one of the 5. Okay. No problem. Until I got home and shared the cookies with my family after dinner. The chocolate fudge cookie had nuts in it. Yea, not good for me. The actual chocolate tasted like it was cheap chocolate from a dollar store. Think Palmers only worse. They have confused a soft cookie for a way underbaked cookie. The regular chocolate chip was still Crunchy inside from uncooked sugar. At $14+ for 7 cookies? Lesson learned. VILE NEVER AGAIN.Oh and kneading dough with no gloves or hair net. SICK!
