So I live a few blocks away from Guthrie’s Chicken on Front Beach Road here in PCB and get food from them frequently… when they rolled out the big sign on the front by the road stating the chicken boxes with a drink for a certain price between 2-8pm daily I assumed if you go within that time period it should automatically be that price right? Well even though it’s not posted or disclosed on the sign, menu or anywhere for that matter that you have to ask for the daily special that is ran everyday or they will charge you full price even without drinks. I’ll be honest and say I’ve never asked for my receipt and as long as the total is close I haven’t bothered to pay attention. They told me it would be 5 min for the food so I asked for the receipt this time and when I looked at it and did the quick math I realized they charged full price without drinks. When I asked why I didn’t get the special or at least a deduction for not having the drinks she tells me well here’s the thing, if you don’t ask we just charge the full amount. If this is the daily special everyday between these time periods why isn’t it automatic? Why should I have to ask for you to honor what your big sign says? It doesn’t say ask about our lower priced chicken boxes between 2-8pm. Safe to say I will never give them business or send anyone their way again. False advertisement at its finest, they should probably change the verbiage on their sign before someone wants to get real petty and start a little class action lawsuit.

Whoever made my chicken basket just now didn’t serve chicken strips. You only gave me two little nuggets (that are mostly hard crunchy crust from the fried batter) and two other pieces of chicken that don’t measure up to the chicken strips I’m accustomed to Guthries serving. And you also served a lot less of the fries you normally serve. I come through somewhat frequently because the chicken STRIPS are big thick juicy and tender. I tried calling you to talk to y’all about it, but then the phone rang off the hook. So I jumped on here let you know. I placed the chicken nuggets next to the sauce cup so you can see the size I was served. And the picture also reflects the French fry portion.

I did originally rate them at 4 stars but i am more of a frequenter there now cause they do have the firest chicken strips there is in bay county and they're cashier's and front counter people are polite and awsome the owner is cool too but his MANAGERS ESPECIALLY the night shift ones are very rude and nasty to the customers and this is why i bumped them down a star

This song lace is an embarrassment. The chicken was depressing it was so small it was like looking at a bunch of peanuts, a mouse couldn’t get full off that meal. Another thing is the honey mustard had the consistency of the paint we use at work and just tasted like sugar slime. The guy up front was ok but he thought he could fix everything by just giving me ketchup. Guthrie’s don’t try and respond to this without addressing these problems I’m on to you.

They send out the box rox deals every wed. And will hassle u for text message every time if u try to use. They also apparently r no longer doing changes to orders when it is on deal. I have done this every other time. I shop here at least once a week as my business is right around corner. Management apparently likes to run off loyal customers. Management at this one sucks, I have not gotten this treatment at any other Guthries I have been to. The bad Landscaping will give u a general idea of how they do business there

The chicken is big pieces lightly breaded unlike the other places that have zero chicken and a pound of hardened nasty breading. Its amazing. Comes with a thousand island sauce. Very clean place. Fast service. Never a line.
