Why all the fees? AE&P fee was $3.91. I told the waitress that I was a local and could she remove the fee? Her response was NO and said even she has to pay the fee. The waitress however had no clue what the fee was for or what AE&P stood for. Add another $5.75 for using my C.C.

We were seated after about 30 minutes which isn’t bad but once seated, it was another 30 before anyone acknowledged us and got our drink orders then almost another 2 hrs before we got SO,SO food. This was definitely a wasted trip and in good faith, I can’t recommend them!!

If you like greasy food you will love it… also no Cole slaw or hush puppies. Entres have 1 side order. French Fries were cold n Fish warm. Wasn’t crowded 1/4 occupied. Now we know why it wasn’t crowded. All the other Restaurants had a wait lol
Really not sure how this place stays open. The food is so bad and the staff are just rude. Way to many other options to choose bad food and rude workers.

My husband and I ate at Hammerhead Fred’s today and it was disappointing. The food wasn’t great and overpriced. The raw oysters were good but then we had very a disappointing grilled shrimp dinner and sub par fish tacos that were very wet. I also had a voodoo punch alcoholic drink and it was weak. I don’t recommend this place at all, there are much better places in PCB especially for the $100 we paid for a disappointing meal. The service was good though.

My boyfriend and I went to Hammerhead Fred's because it was across the street from where we were staying. He ordered the catfish with shrimp I ordered the Mahi with shrimp. Our waitress only came to the table three times. Once was to take our drink order once was to take our food order and once was when it was time to get the check. She never checked on us in between. The food was so overcooked it was almost inedible. Mahi and catfish are normally very tender. What we were served almost needed a knife to cut. The shrimp had obviously been frozen at some point. And was almost too hard to chew as well. The cocktail sauce tasted like straight ketchup. There was no horseradish flavor at all. In all the meal was terrible and the service was terrible.

After being sat, we waited 30 minutes at our table for someone to take our order before I finally had to go to the hostess stand and ask if there is a server assigned to our table. Even still, 10 minutes later, I found another server and asked if she could figure out if someone is supposed to take our order. Someone finally came over and seemed reluctant to have to take our order. And, never acknowledged our wait.
The whole thing was very off putting. I noticed the same thing happened to another table.
I don’t know, for a Saturday night, the place was pretty dead. I guess the oysters were good. And the potato salad.
