Went in for gift certificates, they do not offer them. Many items crossed off of the menu, some items on the menu not available, like plantains, on the day I went. Ordered the jerk pork, raw salad & rice&peas -- Pork was very spicy for me & somewhat overcooked...peas&rice were sweet? Raw salad was as expected. It was okay towards disappointing, because when I went over a year ago, the food was very good & available! The only person working was helpful & patient -- he worked the back & register, but I didn't notice any hand cleaning...

Food was delicious! We came on New Year’s Day and only one person worked. He was awesome and attentive. I ordered the salmon pineapple salsa and it was superb. Most items here have a little kick to em. So if you don’t like spicy food make sure you ask.

I was disappointed with the food. Nothing that I ordered was good. It’s like they got established and quit cooking like how they used to. They need to go back to the food truck. That’s when the food was good.

First time visiting Jaa's Jamaican Kitchen and the food was okay. I was truly expecting amazing Jamaican Ox tails, coconut rice and peas with steamed cabbage. But the Ox tail gravy was thin not thick at all and just tasted like regular soul food Ox tails. But the steamed cabbage was good and the customer service. So when in the area, stop in and give them a try. They also have bar & cocktails available.

I don’t like to leave bad reviews. Came to restaurant the customer service was not good at all and will leave it at that. The cashier was eating when I was ordering. I asked how the food was and she said she was on a liquid diet . So from there, I assumed the food was not good. The cook behind the counter was cool. If you’re from out of town I would not recommend this place not because of the food which was okay but not great a little too expensive for what we received. I should have left from the moment customer service was not right! Don’t know what the problem was . I asked a question and got a side way answer while she eating behind counter.I am here to give you business wanted to eat Jamaican food was disappointed. But as I thumbed through the reviews, I see why I got the treatment I did . I would not recommend this place.

Food is excellent! My new favorite restaurant when im in the area. Rasta pasta with oxtails or the jerk chicken is a must! Tender, flavorful and authentic. Check them out!

I tried their jerk chicken and it tasted like it was dry and microwaved. There was a hole on the plate and their Jerk sauce wasn't spicy. It was mostly like barbecue sauce with ketchup mixed together. This is a waste of money and I'm never coming back.

Awesome food with generous portions. Presentation is spectacular and food is hot when presented to the table. Pleasant and attentive service. Definitely will be back.

Truly some of the best curry goat I’ve ever had. They were out of steamed cabbage which hurt. But the food was amazing. Oxtail was really good too but that curry goat was amazing
