Mike's Cafe and Oyster Bar

Fried Catfish tasted fantastic! But the potion size was incredibly small for the price. It literally looked like a child's plate. Don't order it if your hungry! This was the same as my first visit same order!

The place was pretty good, and I'm not the biggest fan of seafood. I didn't go to crazy, got the shrimp and andouille skewers and the seasoning on it all was actually great. And I didn't expect to like the wild rice but it was surprisingly very good, I finished every last grain. The shrimp and crab quesadilla was alright. A bit too fishy for what it should have been, nothing special. stars

Mike's was really good this time; excellent shrimp, grouper, and French fries basket. Be aware, it's open at 3pm but there is no takeout if they have anybody waiting. We ate around 5pm because it gets busy and we wanted to avoid the crowd. The quality of the food was excellent, and the service was quick.

The absolute best seafood and the best service with Rosie as our server! The food is perfect, nothing fancy, just good simple seafood the way it’s supposed to be. So glad I found this place. We will definitely come again and again and again.

The service was absolutely awful. We were seated and then ignored as other patrons came in and were served, paid and left before we got our food. When we were finally served our food was not hot, missing items had to be requested, and the wrong food came in another order. It took a long time to get the check only to find the tip had been included in our bill.

I love Mikes!!! I really love the Mike, the owner, walks around!!!! So welcoming. My little cousin didn’t like the kids noodles, but that’s the only thing that wasn’t AMAZING about this restaurant!!!! I LOVES MIKES SO MUCB EVERYONE HAS A SMILE ON THEIR FACE!!!!

Food is consistently fantastic. Drinks are good… not oversized but very good.
One of the best smaller places in Panama City Beach. Been here forever so the decor is a little old. Really great to still be able to meet and chat with the original owner. Very family friendly.

Our waitress was extremely rude in my opinion and she was just not friendly she's lucky we even tipped her because she was clearly rude and not doing her best job. But we understand she was slammed. She needs better people skills as rudeness will affect tips. It took way to long to get our food

Our go-to place for my seafood fix when we're in PCB. My husband and I shared the fried seafood platter and it was plenty for us. We had planned to get key lime pie for dessert, but were too full. Love this local restaurant and that the owner is usually out, visiting with customers and working hard.

We seen so many good reviews about this place. And when we showed up and we were told it would be an hour wait, we thought for sure the food would be absolutely delicious! An hour and 15 min later, we got seated. Ordered drinks. 10 min later we ordered food. No exaggeration, we received our food an hour and 30 min after we ordered. The only thing warm was the corn and wild rice. The steaks, mashed potatoes, green beans, crab, everything was cold. After not eaten but 3 bites and telling the waitress all the food was cold, we were given the check ($200+) and a free desert as their apology.

We got the grilled shrimp and seafood casserole this time. It was very good. Mike’s is on our list of must go restaurants when we are in Panama City. It is always a great place to go.
