This place isn’t much to look at and isn’t on the beach, but the food and friendly service make it a very worthy stop. I’ve eaten at Mikes many times when I had a reason to visit PCB. Unfortunately my visits ceased 6 years ago so when I evacuated from Hurricane Milton, my first night I went to Mikes. Mike served me and his lovely wife told him of my visit. They are about as down home as you can find. And as usual, my seafood casserole was wonderful. Tonight is my final night in PCBand I plan on visiting Mikes tonight for his Oysters Bordeaux.
Food was bland unless you added dips or put lemon on your seafood. Cajun pasta is also bland. Waitress came to our table once and wife tried paying for the $60 tab with a $100 bill and the waitress just walked off and said have a good day. We had to flag her down to tell her we need our change back and we would leave a tip. Owner walked around and chatted with everyone. There was a good amount of food, just was missing any standalone flavor
