Paula Deen's Family Kitchen

Located in Pier Park (shopping complex), this is a family style restaurant. For $14.95 per adult your party can select 2 entrees & 4 sides which will be served in bowls at your table. We chose shrimp & grits & fried chicken. Bowls & bread plate were kept full as we ate. However, the only carryouts are desserts. We got small slices of chocolate cake & peach cobbler. The dessert was so good I thought I died and went to heaven, only Jesus can make chocolate taste that good.

Came while on vacation with my family. Service was quick, food was amazing, I love the unique experience of family style dining. We all left with very full bellies! Seirieata was one of the best waitresses we’ve ever had- great personality, kept drinks filled and brought food quickly. We will be back!

We were skeptical because we just came from Ms. Wilkes in Savannah (amazing must try) and Paula deens family kitchen is the same "family dining" style. The atmosphere was nice, service was amazing. Special thanks to Seirieata, she took the time to explain the concept and make amazing suggestions for us first timers. For mains we had (gotta try) Fried chicken and shrimp and grits. For sides, Cole slaw, creamed potato, creamed corn and fried okra. Everything was AMAZING, except for the potatoes. They were bland with no flavor, I would have expected it to be drowning in butter but it was NOT. Since you get free refills on all dishes, we just decided to leave it on the table and enjoy the rest. Worth a try, YES. Would we go back, YES.

This is my second time coming to this restaurant and I am definitely coming back! The food is so good and they make you feel like family. From their family style foods to the excellent service! My aunt’s birthday was the day before so she could not get the discount but, the waitress sang wonderfully and gave her a signed Paula card! She also gave us extra desserts and food. When we noticed she said don’t worry about it! 10/10 wonderful service and food! I recommend the butter cake!

Great, homestyle meals just like my grandmother used to make. Friendly, attentive staff. Our server Seirieta was awesome. Bonus, if you make her laugh she'll snort. Made the meal what much more enjoyable.
