I recommend you try Bananas Foster. It's the best coffee shop here.

Absolutely loved PJ’s Coffee in Panama City Beach! The staff were super friendly and welcoming from the start. I tried the iced cold-drip coffee — smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced — along with a fresh beignet that was soft, warm, and dusted in powdered sugar.
The cozy vibe and clean space make it a great spot to relax or catch up with friends. They’ve got plenty of seating inside and outside, plus a tempting pastry selection that’s hard to resist.
Located right in Pier Park, it’s the perfect coffee stop while shopping or enjoying the beach. A must-visit for anyone in PCB who loves high-quality coffee and great service!

Be ready to pay twice what you’d spend at Starbucks. Super expensive for plain, nothing-special coffee and a basic pastry. I left feeling ripped off, guess they really take advantage of tourists here. Pretty shameful, honestly. Nobody wants to drop over $20 plus tip on two regular coffees and one pastry.

I visited this shop twice while on vacation this week. The coffee was not terrible, however the employees acted as though it was an imposition on their day to serve customers. No smiles. No thank you's. No greetings to customers when they approach the register. I heard the employees several times argue about duties behind the counters. The other locations may be top notch, but this location wasn't worth the cost or the trouble.
Absolutely terrible attitudes!!!!! Ordered coffee. Went to fill with cream. The creamer carafe wasn’t put together properly so it spilled and a part fell into the coffee spilling all over my clothes and floor. Tried to get a towel and the girls all had attitude and wanted to give a new cup of coffee. Don’t want new coffee- want something to clean up with. Thanks for ruining my clothes and coffee. All you needed to do was say “I’m so sorry” and give us a towel. Instead saying “it happens” with major attitude and doing nothing to help. Owner needs new employees!!!

Maybe the best beignets I’ve ever had
I visited this place with my family over the summer and have been back several time during a busy trip these past few weeks.while I truly enjoy food, coffee atmosphere, I've noticed a troubling staffng practice, in the morning there's only one person working running back and forth, and the evenings its the same story. I've seen this happening consistently during breakfast and again at night when i stop for coffee-and i remember well that in the summer there were plenty staff. I am extremely dissatisfied with the staffing practices at this establishment. Management regularly schedules only one employee to handle an entire shift. This is not only unfair to the person working but also creates serious operational and safety problems. With only one person on duty there is no way to manage multiple tasks at once — serving customers, handling cash, preparing products, cleaning, and dealing with unexpected issues. Service inevitably suffers, customers wait longer, and mistakes happen because the workload is simply too much for one individual. In addition to being bad for business, this practice is also dangerous. If an emergency or an unruly customer situation arises, there is no second staff member to help, call for assistance, or relieve the person on duty. It is unreasonable and irresponsible to put employees in that position. Staffing more than one person per shift is basic best practice in retail, food service, and other customer-facing operations.According to company policy, how many staff members are supposed to be scheduled per shift? If the answer is “more than one,” then management needs to start following policy. If there really aren’t enough workers, then hire more people instead of overloading one employee. Even when business is slow you cannot predict when things will suddenly become busy that is the nature of running a business. Until this is fixed, I cannot recommend this workplace for employment nor this location for customers seeking quality service.

Tried this place two times while on vacation because it seemed like a really cute place and the drinks were pretty good but unfortunately the service was awful. Both times two different ladies had attitudes and seemed like they didn’t want to be there and didn’t even greet us when we came through the door. Seeing that it was two different workers this way makes me not want to come back. Customer service in my opinion is just as important as the drinks.

We LOVE PJ's in Tuscaloosa, AL, however this location was terrible. The taste of the cold brew was so harsh that none of us could finish our drinks. The server didn't know what Splenda sweetner was and neither attendant knew how to add cream other than giving the little cups to add ourselves.

I didn’t try the coffee myself, but my entire family did—and unfortunately, it was a major disappointment. They’re regular PJ’s customers at home and usually enjoy it, but everyone agreed this location’s coffee was terrible, to the point that more than half of each drink ended up being thrown away. When we walked in, there was no one else in line, yet the drinks still took a while to be prepared. On the positive side, the staff was friendly, but overall the experience was far below what we expect from PJ’s.

A very cozy café with a pleasant atmosphere and attentive service. The food is delicious and served quickly, with quite reasonable prices. A great place to spend time and come back again.

The Iced Bananas Foster at PJ’s Coffee in Pier Park is pure magic—smooth coffee, creamy sweetness, and that caramelized banana flavor that tastes like dessert in a cup. Perfect for a sunny Panama City Beach day!
The cutest little shop with some of the best coffee. The barista was super nice and recommended her favorite. Definitely will be back when in town again.
