EXTREMELY rude staff. No one checked our IDs at the door and then proceeded to bombard us with multiple people trying to check IDs as we tried to order drinks. One person in our party was under 21, and instead of checking the ID at the door like any bar usually would, the staff waited until we were in the bar trying to order to check and then asked the under age guest to leave, which she did immediately. We were under the impression that it was fine for her to be there seeing as no one was doing their job at the door. We were then rudely asked by the “security” staff where the “underage person” was after she had already left and wanted to check our IDs again. I will NEVER go back to this bar again after the way we were treated on what was supposed to be a fun night out. I am well over the drinking age and was treated like a child here. Sad that this is supposed to be a “locals” bar, but that is not the way the staff (bartenders and “security”, specifically) run this place. I will never spend a PENNY at this bar and will make sure all of my family and friends who live in PCB never do again either.

If you’re a vacationer, this is a place for the locals.

I went there looking for a karaoke night, I missed it, but I still got some draft beer; IPA space dust was good. I had four and I felt as if a donkey had kicked me on the head. Then I just crossed the street to hear the waves while looking at the moon. During summer it closes at 2am.

Great place to get out, close to our stay, had Karaoke the night we dropped in and it was fun, even at the pool tables it was not so loud you couldn't talk to everyone... had a blast

Matt makes a PERFECT green tea shot. He and the other staff were very welcoming to this out of towner :) Pool tables (quarters) were perfect and touch tunes? Say less. Will definitely be back for more

We stopped into Old Beach Bar in Panama City Beach hoping for a relaxed evening and a few drinks. While the staff behind the bar was friendly, unfortunately, our overall experience was ruined by a group of hostile locals associated with the pool league.

Despite being accompanied by a friend who is a local, we were immediately treated with suspicion and outright hostility by a few of the regulars. On our way to play a game of quarters at the “Bonus Hole” quarter game, we were harassed and accused of “disrespecting the pool league”—simply for being in the bar at all. One woman in particular quieted the entire bar and shouted that our presence alone was offensive, which set an uncomfortable tone for the rest of the visit. I was even called a “Yankee” for being from Wyoming, which was not only uncalled for but made it clear that some patrons are not interested in welcoming visitors.

I understand the importance of community and local traditions, but there’s a difference between being proud of your regulars and being hostile toward new faces. It’s a shame, because the atmosphere and potential of the bar could make for a great hangout spot if everyone felt equally welcome.

If you’re from out of town, I’d recommend finding a spot where you’re not made to feel like an outsider just for walking in the door.

There is no food served here. The service was fast and the drinks were as expected. The place looks like it needs some serious attention. We were most disappointed as we were looking for food and this place is not advertised as what it really is..a local dive bar.
