I ordered the catch of the day with a salad. The catch of the day was grouper. It was very small and was pretty bland. My salad was put on top of the fish. I would have preferred those separated. I also ordered wings with the beach sauce. The wings with the beach sauce were good. I'd score those at least a 4 or 5.

We come here every single day of the week for breakfast when we stay at Tide Water!
The servers are all so sweet and one of our servers even remembered how we split the check and didn’t even need to ask after only having us 1 time!
The breakfast sandwich with Canadian bacon is to die for. A must try!

Great location to grab food when you stay at Tidewater. Nice to have a quick place you don't have to leave the resort for. We visited in January, the current menu is in the photos.

Slowest place we’ve EVER been too and we’ve been around, we are trusted foodies. There was literally no one at the restaurant and the food took over an hour to come out, very very disappointing and there is literally no excuse for that. If you are doing it for convenience, it is going to take way longer than walking somewhere nearby. Avoid at all costs. Food was mediocre. The hash was smothered in cheese. I think they literally dipped the entire plate on cheese. It wasn’t horrible but definitely not worth the price and wait. The only positive is our server. She was very sweet on Saturday second weekend of August 2024. I didn’t catch your name but girl if you are reading this, you need to find a place were you can shine because you are awesome but the restaurant isn’t.

I don’t normally do a 5 star review on food, but the fish and chips were on point. The food was reasonably priced, and the wait was short. Wonderful place to eat.

A group of my friends and I came in on Saturday night. We had to wait at the bar area for 10 minutes before the bartender came over. We told them we had 4 dining in. Once she told us to pick a table, she didn’t come over for at least 6 minutes. I had to get up and go to the host stand and grab menus. All while a guy was sitting in a chair right next to the bar just watching us. The drinks were good, the server/ bartender was alright. My friend ordered onion rings with her meal, but received French fries instead. She got the meal as we were finishing up eating, so she didn’t mention anything. It was frustrating that the meal came at the very end because it was not intended to be a to go order. Weird that everything came out together except that order. I had some food to take home and once I heated it up the next day, I noticed the shrimp I had ordered were not deveined. I was shocked and disgusted that I ate almost the entire meal before noticing. The next day we came in for breakfast and once again service was very slow. The server was not very nice and never came back to ask about refills or to see if we had everything we needed. They tried to charge my friend for something she didn’t receive. They ended up taking the extra charge off, but again, it took a long time to have the bill fixed. All of us had empty cups half way through the meal, so it was very frustrating. The breakfast was not good at all. The bacon and hashbrowns were so over done. Another friend opened up her silverware and noticed it had food caked on it, so that was disgusting. My silverware had so many spots on it, it also looked dirty. Since we had a party of 6, there was an automatic gratuity fee added on of 20%. The server never once told us it would be added on to the bill. Overall, my friends and I were very dissatisfied with everything. The only perk I had was the first server forgot to charge me for my to go order on the first night. I got my to go order before my friend got her meal and I ordered my to go order later than her. Will not be back to this establishment.

We stay at this resort every year and Waves is a big reason why. The food is always delicious and the service is good. HOWEVER. I have to share a pretty bad experience. I went to get a drink one evening and stood there. My friend was served immediately. Then the bartender/waitress seemed to ignore me. 20 minutes of waiting later, she told me they were closed. I told her I had been standing here and just want a drink and she said, "yeah, we're closed now." HORRIBLE. I will say, that is my ONLY bad experience in years, but it's one I won't soon forget.

My family and I, ate here and we had an amazing experience. The blacken Mahi Mahi tacos were very good, the fries were delicious. Shaneè was our server and she made our experience better, please acknowledge her, we'll done!!! I will recommend to anyone!!!!

The staff are arrogant and try to rip you off! Put bogus items on your bill and take money as a tip without giving the customer a choice of the amount.

We ate here on our first night arriving at the condo for the month of February. We weren't greeted right away, but the burger and the fish&chips were very good. We'll eat there again in our last night here.

I choose not to patronize this restaurant because when I walked in I was not greeted, even though there was someone working at the bar. There was no one at the greeters station. I did get a menu on my own to see if there was something I wanted and just walked over to the bar. Still not being greeted. An older “white” couple walked up to the greeters stand and was immediately told by the person working at the bar that they could sit wherever they like. Still completely ignoring me. I literally had to ask him if he was working the tables and he said he was working everything. Still not asking if I wanted to be seated or order anything. After he went to take the couple their menus, he then asked if I was placing a togo order? I asked him why was I not greeted and ask the moment I walked in like the other people he just seated. He stated “ I didn’t know because you were looking at the menu” I stated you didn’t bother to ask either but you did make sure the other couple got seated and taken care of with me standing here and been here for the longest. He then stated “I’m the only one working” I then stated yes I see that but yet you still made sure you addressed the other people and not once greeted, asked any questions or wanted to know my needs. I decided not to stay and take my money elsewhere. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT FOR PEOPLE OF COLOR FROM MY EXPERIENCE. We are not welcomed here!!!!
