The best rice and peas I ever had . The oxtail is so good

We stayed in Panama City for our honeymoon and ate twice here! The goat curry was sooo yummy I had to have it again. My husband loved the chicken curry. Definitely can’t wait to go back to have such good food again

The Best Jamaican cuisine on the beach of PCB! The freshest, most fantastically delicious. I've gone here 3 times so far and have always been impressed by the quality of their food. And not to mention their grocery store is stellar. Come here for an authentic, delicious, fresh experience of jamaican cuisine at its finest.

I must say I appreciated their service. While placing my order over the phone the person on the other end was cracking jokes and just being a fuulnny human. I appreciated that interaction.

My rating is a 4 and not a 5 bevause i expected better from the food. This is what we ordered.

Oxtails with peas and rice with a side of cabbage:
Oxtails- They were tender and juicy. It dis appear as though I was getting the scraps of the pot. They had a subtle jerk flavor, I could have used a little more flavor in mine.
Rice and Peas- I love the amount of rice and they abundant amount of gravy they put on top. However I didnt like that at the bottom of my rice was a bed of grease and not just a little a good layer of it.
Cabbage- was good, flavorful, and had a nice lil crunch to it.

Jerk Chicken with peas and rice with cabbage:
Jerk Chicken- This was tender and good with a lovely amount of meat. We were very satisfied with that.
Rice and peas- same as above
Cabbage- same as above.

Sides:
French fries- They were hot, crunchy on the outside, and soft on the inside. They were good.

My family and I are in town from Tennessee! Found this spot and it was AMAZING!

We got oxtails , rice, cabbage, chicken , slaw, etc — allll so good !! The woman that works the counter was very sweet and welcoming!!

We ordered the oxtail with rice + peas + Mac salad. It was so good we went back and ordered the jerk chicken. Everything was so well seasoned and very flavorful. I had to mark the place in case we come back to PCB. I only got the picture of the jerk chicken. Best Jamaican food I’ve had yet.
