Stopped by the Panama City Applebee's yesterday while I was working out of town, and even though the building was packed I received friendly service. The food did take a little longer to come out but with as busy as they were it's understandable. My waitress made sure to communicate with me so there were never any issues. I will visit again when I'm back in the area.

Save your money and go somewhere else. The whole experience was awful. We arrived about 1:00 on a Sunday afternoon. It was not busy, maybe 6-8 occupied tables, many of which were finishing up. They had to clean a table for us to be seated, which wasn’t really a big deal but when we sat down that table was so sticky the menus stuck to it. It took forever to get someone over to take our drink order, which was not complicated, 4 half and half teas and a water. We ordered our food at the same time because we had plenty of time before anyone came to our table to figure out what we were having. Our drinks came and they were wrong, except the water, they got right. All unsweet tea…so I sent them back. My husband and I both ordered a hamburger with fries, no substitutions or anything special, just how they came on the menu. Our girls got kids meals, pizza, Mac and cheese, both with fries. Our oldest wanted and extra corn dog, so when I asked for a single corn dog, the waitress said they couldn’t ring up a corn dog and she would have to charge me for a meal…makes no sense but by that time I didn’t care to make it an ordeal so I said whatever just add an applesauce and make it a meal…$7 for a corn dog and applesauce. Ridiculous. Finally our food came out and I had MAYBE 15 French fries on my plate, and that’s being generous. The burger was actually good, surprising given how everything was going at that time. They decided to tell my husband as they were putting his plate on the table that they didn’t have a sauce that normally comes on his burger, which is what makes the burger special and not just a plain Jane hamburger. Again by this time he was as fed up with the whole experience he just asked for ranch to dress it up a bit. It was so hot in the restaurant that our daughter got overheated just sitting there colouring and sick to her stomach, so we put her food in a to go box so maybe she can try again later. Not that it impacted us but the people at the next booth over, ordered wings with bbq sauce, but they came out with some other sauce on them, the waitress failed to bring a breadstick which apparently was part of one persons meal, then the waitress said “oh sorry I forgot your break stick…do you even want it?” The host was “cleaning up” the table across the aisle from ours and flung food towards my husband, almost hitting him with it. It was a piece of a tortilla chip, so it was definitely big enough to see hurling in his direction and then subsequently laying on the floor in the aisle. This was the same guy who spilled a drink on the floor at the table diagonal to ours and half heartedly wiped it up, leaving the floor soaking wet and not putting a sign out to caution people about the slipping hazard. The whole place was just gross. There were several tables and the bar with dirty dishes left on them for a looong time. I took my girls to the bathroom and again the floor was so sticky it could've pulled your shoes off. We definitely were not the only ones having this experience. An older couple came in and it took so long for someone to come and get their drink order, they ended up getting up and leaving, which given the experience we had, I wish we would’ve done the same. Like I said, save your money and go somewhere else. I guarantee you’ll be better off.

While I am reluctant to assign a rating lower than five stars, I must unfortunately acknowledge that this particular Applebee's location did not meet expectations. The food was barely palatable, and the service was exceptionally slow, despite the restaurant having only about four patrons at the time. My mother's dinner was excessively salty, to the point of being unpleasant to consume, which unfortunately caused her to lose her appetite and decline a replacement. Although the staff was very accommodating in addressing her concerns, the overall service remained slow, and the food quality was subpar, as previously noted.

This was the worst experience ever coming here. The food was cold, the kitchen was loud, and the servers just sit at the tables by the bar not doing anything. At least when we came the younger manager Brandon would at least come to the table and check how things were and would fix instantly anything wrong, cause the servers sure don't. We won't come here again unless in the day time with the manager Amy she is a sweetheart and now the only time we feel wanted

I want to start this with I used to be a huge Applebees Girl .. But I'm let down drastically!!! My husband and I literally just ate @this location tonight 11-15-25 around 9pm . After being seated and waitng 15 minutes for at least a hello . A waiter finally came over complained about not being helped by other servers . Took our full order ie : drinks , apps & dinner at once . Other tables seated after us got drinks and apps immediately... we waited 45 minutes for our food. The appetizers we got were mozzarella sticks, chicken tacos and boneless wings ; when they came out with all the other food we were not given mozzarella sticks but fried pickles . Which the server didn't even apologize for . My husband ordered a burger and fries ..when the fries came out it was a big enough portion for a 3 year old. Mind you he's in his 30's . I ordered the shrimp parmesan steak *medium rare * with green bean and coleslaw... (Neither one was my first choice ) Most of the menu we were told was not available. When my food came my steak was medium , the green beans looks freezer burnt and we're cold, it took the server coming back to our table 3 times for me to get a small cup a slimy coleslaw.. After a few bites of it all we were over it . From being ignored at the beginning of it all to the waiter constantly complain about the job and our food being below standards for this restaurant, we will never come back to this location ! For an $80 total plus tip we expected better 😔

Few patrons in the restaurant while we were there and it still took significant time for food to come out, checks to come out, etc. The food was mediocre and the table was sticky. The service was OK, losing track of drinks, but seemed attentive when at the table. Overall, not worth the $80 for 3 people spent here to me.
