Great experience. Our server, Lolita, was so helpful and the food was delicious. I had crab cakes and my wife had stuffed shrimp. Also the she crab soup was excellent. The ambience was very cool. We had a very nice time here.

We have loved Captain Andersons since the late 1980’s and it gets better every time we go! We now have a son in a wheelchair and they are more than accommodating. We eat there every single night that we vacation in PCB and that is every year! Our most favorite waitress is Misti Escudero!! She is so wonderful to our son and treats him beautifully. The food is always delicious and we love every bite!! It takes us a little longer to eat as I have to feed our son. We never feel rushed and Misti takes exceptional care of us!! It’s our favorite restaurant and our most favorite waitress of all time!! ❤️❤️ ❤️

I was really disappointed with my visit to Captain Anderson’s Restaurant. Right when we walked in, the first greeter we encountered was extremely rude and appeared to be sitting at the computer playing a game. Not a great first impression.
I’m sure this place used to be great, but now it feels like they’re coasting on their reputation. The prices are high, but the food quality just didn’t match. Most of the sides were overcooked, and the seafood itself was overdone too which is frustrating at that price point. The “stuffed” seafood dishes were basically all bread with very little actual seafood. And the “gumbo” was more like a celery and okra broth than a rich, flavorful gumbo.
The positives: the ambiance is beautiful, the wait staff once seated were friendly and attentive, and dessert was honestly the best part of the meal.
Overall, the experience didn’t match the cost, and I expected much better from a place with this reputation.

Been going there since 1988. Way before all the buildup on the beach and bad behavior. I love the atmosphere. The food is great. My favorite waitress is Sonny who has been there over 30 years.

Captain Anderson’s is always a staple of PCB and is a must-do for any first timers! Definitely a heaven for any seafood lovers, you will find some of the freshest seafood straight from their boats! I am always a big fan of their shrimp personally, but you can’t go wrong with any choice here!

Been a customer since the late 1960's when my parents took us there as children. Just experienced the worst service and seating ever. So disappointed! I'm going to the Grand Marlin, it's like Capt. Anderson's used to be.
