Our favorite place to be!!!

I am a local bartender, and I come here all the time just for the staff. Braden, Canaan and Lee treat me the way I treat my guests. It is also incredibly entertaining to people watch at this establishment. The views are as good as the people watching. I was there when a ketchup bottle exploded and the guy was so drunk he couldn’t even remember “Keenan’s” name, it’s Canaan. Canaan did everything in his power to correct the problem, and the guest was just not giving him the opportunity, As a local, seeing the duress in my fellow service industry friends eyes is very disheartening. I cannot imagine how this guy would have treated a female bartender.
Come here for the views, and the staff. The upper deck is my home away from home.

The team works tirelessly, always focused on serving customers without distractions—no phones, no side conversations. This place is one of my ALL TIME favorites in PCB! The view is phenomenal and you can see the charter ships come back to port with their catch! The whole staff is amazing and work so hard to make this small 'Mom and Pop' shop work! From the bartenders (Braden, Canaan, and Lee) to the kitchen staff, (Miss Kris and the other lovely ladies) who make sure my food is delicious every time! They have happy hour every night from 4:00 to 7:00 with buy one get one free on draft beers, as well, as well-drinks! And you can always bring your voucher back if you don't get your second! They also have live music every night except during football games!

*The one downfall would be if someone could not navigate steps, because it is on the second floor, and the elevator access is not available at this time.

First of all, I cannot recommend this place enough. I’ve had so many awesome experiences with the bartenders, Canaan, Lee and Braden. The food is excellent, the drinks are amazing and the atmosphere is phenomenal. However, this evening when I was dining in, canaan had a guest whose ketchup bottle exploded on him. The guest was very unkind. Canaan was very professional and handled the situation very well considering the guest was very unpleasant. My husband and I will be returning back to Capt Max’s.

A ketchup bottle exploded all over us and the bartender Keenan laughed at us and said we were rude because we were upset. He was very unprofessional and rude himself. The bar was full and he laughs and doesn’t do anything to help. He told us we were rude and wasn’t going to give me another shirt. My $50 shirt was ruined and he finally gave me a tee shirt.i would not recommend this place to anyone. On top of that the floor is very soft and feels like you could fall through.

Absolutely 💯 the best place for football; fun & food… RIGHT ON THE WATER… Great staff; great views; great vibe..!!

GET THE BUFFALO CHICKEN NACHOS HOLY COW THEYRE SO GOOD AND SO MUCH FOOD. Comes with chips, buffalo chicken, white queso, shredded cheese, lettuce, sour cream, and pico. I added jalapeños for only $0.50 and substituted pico for red onion. 100/10
