I thought they had to go catch the shrimp, fish, etc! I waited in the drive through line at the speaker , at least 5 min. I was the ONLY ONE IN LINE. I had to holler Hello...Hello!!! They finally came to the speaker..I said I thought maybe yall were closed!! I got to the window...someone finally acknowledged me..there waz an employee eating in the area they pack the food!! In plain sight!! Look at the camera!! 3-4-2025 at 3pm ish!! I then waited for at least 20 min. At the window to receive my food!!!!! I figured i waited so long it would all be HOT!!! NOPE!! LUKE WARM!! UNEXCEPTABLE!! THE PRICE YOU PAY ..YOU SHOULD HAVE GREAT SERVICE, HOT šŸ”„ FOOD!! I waited so long I then added a LG drink...4.02!! And i thought she had forgotten that!! At least, THE ONE COULD HAVE STOPPED eating and serve the customers! It deserves ZERO STARS!! NEVER GOING BACK!! The PLACE WAS NOT BUSY!!

We went to our regular Capt D’s on 23rd Street in Panama City for the last time. We ordered and sat down. The ice machine was empty after waiting 10 minutes for them to fill it, I went to the counter and asked them to fill our cups.
The food was delivered to our table and we asked for 6 extra tarter sauces. The lady was rude to put it mildly and said she would only give us 2. I went to the counter and let her know we wanted 4 more and didn’t mind paying for extra. After heading told they had a policy that limits giving only 2-3 per order and we couldn’t even pay for additional we asked for Togo containers, went and bought tartar sauce at a store and ate our cold flounder!

Walked in waited awhile before the lady came back to counter from kitchen. She walked pasted us and said ā€œbe with you in a minuteā€. Walked over to window and I am not sure what she did, did not see anyone in drive through messed around at window for a few seconds and came to the window where food is ready to be delivered to customers. The food had been sitting in the window since we had come in. She picks up food to take to customer which was sitting in the waiting area, as she passed she said ā€œ I will be with you in a minuteā€ and takes food to the customer. As she returned to the counter, the phone rang and she answered the phone. At this time we decided to leave due to poor service. As we walked away, I heard ask the customer who was behind us ā€œ could she help themā€. This happed around 11:30 am on 2/5/25 in Panama City Fl. The worst service I have ever received. She acted as though it was a bother and she did not want to serve or be there. If she can’t do better than this she needs to find another job. It is things like this is why you have poor ratings!

I have never left a low rating for Captain D's until now. I did not receive the sides I asked for and the fries in both orders were cold( which I didn't ask for fries in my order). I asked for no cocktail sauce(I'm allergic) and received cocktail sauce and just a few tartar sauce which I asked for extra. I shouldn't have to sit in the drive thru and go through my order.

I was already skeptical about coming to this location because they have messed up my order numerous times, and they do not give you what you pay for. the customer service is terrible. I paid $34 for a 10 piece fish family meal. We got very small amount of fries and the fries were cold and hard. Only thing decent enough to eat was the fish. This location has went down the drain. It is sad almost every employee I have encountered has terrible customer service skills. Who manages this place?
