Chow Time Grill & Buffet

I’ve been to Chow Time Grill & Buffet more times than I can count. It’s been our go-to spot after family funerals—a place that could reliably seat our big family after we’ve laid someone to rest. Not because the food is amazing (it’s not—it’s basic, Americanized Chinese buffet food), or the service (which is average at best), or even the cleanliness (which honestly needs work). We come here because it’s easy, familiar, and spacious. This time, though, after my father passed, we tried to do what we’ve always done: reserve the side room for our family. At first, the manager said all she needed was the date, time, and number of people—which I got together and gave her. Then suddenly, she flipped the script and told me it was too many people. Mind you, we’ve booked this exact setup multiple times before, with no problem. It didn’t feel like policy—it felt personal. Like she just wanted to say no because she could. It’s a terrible feeling to be grieving your father and have a place you’ve always relied on act like your family is an inconvenience. No compassion. No effort to understand. Just attitude and a power trip. We didn’t need special treatment—we just needed a place to feed everyone who came to honor our dad. They’ve done it for us before. But apparently now, they’re too good for that. So no, the food isn’t worth it. The vibe definitely isn’t. And after this, I don’t see myself coming back.

I recommend you not eat there at that time chow Time buffet. the food was very nasty it was cold and the air vent above our table was dripping with water down on my 12-year-old's daughter with water following her plate and I recommend you don't cuz the people there was very not polite and the waitress never came back around don't go there bad choice

The staff were very pushy for us to leave and they were very rude! The food was not good and I wouldn’t recommend anything! Very bad experience & we will never dine here again! Worse buffet in the PCB area!

When I visit my son, daughter in law and grandbaby we try to eat there at least once a visit. Love those place. Thank you to the staff and area.

We have been going to Chow time for years We had ordered 2 waters with our meal when we went to pay they tried to say we ordered lemon aid and one water so I kindly told them they had made a mistake on the ticket and we had 2 waters in which the People there started calling us a lyer over and over they were very rude to us!!! My advice is I would never go back to that place again!!! These people are crazy and try to steal peoples money!!! Even the waiter lyed !!! Terrible place to go eat!!!
