Very different from the original but will do. The new owners have tried to keep the original menu. The ambience is more cafeteria than a ristorante. Wish them the best!!Parking: Parking usually not a problem.Kid-friendliness: The staff are friendly and accommodating.

I wish the new owners had not remodeled this restaurant to look and feel like a fast-food lunch cafe. The atmosphere is nothing like it used to be and this is a shame considering the cost to dine here. The food is still excellent though smaller portions.

I just don’t like what’s been done with the place. I’ve been coming here for years and years and years with family with friends and more. I’ve always enjoyed the food and the cozy atmosphere with the dim lights private booths. Since it reopened there’s been changes that just don’t feel like it use to, and not in a good way. The food is still amazingly good, but the place inside now looks like a cheap modern lunch cafe…. It’s very bright, French art and paintings that don’t compliment each-other, modern light fixtures, smaller tables so the food dishes don’t fit, and a highly dysfunctional seating arrangement. I get the idea to be more like some restaurants in Europe …but it’s too open, you’re involved in both parties conversations next to you , and it’s uncomfortable. Doesn’t feel intimate or warm / cozy anymore. Doesn’t match up well with the food being served. The food is absolutely amazing- but i did notice they downsized their portions and that’s super disappointing considering the price stays the same. The service was also a bit off but that could’ve just been - pardon me for being mindful to the circumstances- the fact they reopened and things are spread out differently-The food took almost a full hour, our waiter didn’t fill up our water but i get it - they were busy- but it’s just little things that I’m not use to that they changed about the place and the energy is a lot different. I don’t think I’m going to be coming back for a while unfortunately, and if so then takeout might be the option. :(

I really hate to leave this…under old management, this place was quaint and par for Panama City. Food was decent. Fast forward to new ownership, and it is a big disappointment. Had reservations for 5:30pm for 5 adults. They put us in a 4 person booth with a chair at the end. We sat for 20 mins without even having water brought to us. Had to go ask the hostess if we were forgotten. Finally got water and bread, then waited another 15 mins for wine and beer. Food took an hour to come out. I’ve lived in Italy twice, and sadly, the food has become typical American take on Italian food. 2 hours after reservations, we finally got our check totaling $170. I’m hoping these are the growing pains of new ownership, but if they don’t figure it out, we’ll be down another restaurant. The one good thing I can say is the remodel is pretty, but that’s about all they can offer at this point.

I ate here before the “refresh”, and while the atmosphere was outdated the food was par for the course for Italian dining. After the refresh, I had high hopes, which quickly dissipated with long service times and mediocre dishes. The salt in the wound, was paying $8 for a cannoli that was piped into the ends, and not all the way into the middle leaving the majority of it hollow.

Had a reservation and tried to eat here however got sat in the corner by the servers and was told the only available seating was crammed in a corner with my girlfriend elbow to elbow. Could have just recommended a later reservation. Then the hostess scoffed as we started getting up. Honestly impressive to be that big of a let down. Food looked great.

Google says they’re open, and they’re permanently closed. Bummer. Was mine and my boyfriend’s one year and that was our first date spot.

Disappointing Date Night at Ferrucci RistoranteMy husband and I were excited for our date night at Ferrucci Ristorante in Panama City, Florida, hoping for a memorable dining experience. Unfortunately, our anticipation was met with disappointment at every turn. To start with, the service was far below par, lacking the warmth and attentiveness one would expect from a reputable establishment. Our wait for the food extended to an agonizing two hours. While we had been patient, attributing the delay to the promise of exceptional cuisine as praised by locals, the reality was starkly different. The food, when it finally arrived, was a letdown. It was evident that neither care nor culinary skill had been invested into its preparation, rendering the dishes unpalatable. Such a level of quality, or lack thereof, was unexpected and unacceptable, especially after such a lengthy wait. The one glimmer of satisfaction came from the chicken lemon soup, which was genuinely great. Its savory warmth and balanced flavors were a brief highlight in an otherwise dismal meal. However, as much as I appreciated this soup, it’s not the reason one visits an Italian restaurant, where the expectation is a feast of pastas, pizzas, and other Italian delicacies, not just a commendable soup.In conclusion, our experience at Ferrucci Ristorante was profoundly disappointing. Despite the soup’s attempt to salvage the meal, the overall poor quality of food and service left us regretting our choice. For a restaurant located in such a vibrant community, it falls woefully short of the mark. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this restaurant to others seeking a delightful Italian dining experience.

Overall we have enjoyed dining here. Maybe it's what I've ordered a couple times, but the food hasn't always been the best. Our last visit was excellent though and plan to update to a 5 star if we visit again and are impressed.

We were running late and they were totally accommodating to our arrival time. The wine was delicious and the mixed drinks were also great. Our waitress was incredible and knew a lot about the menu and had clearly tried a good amount of the food based on her recommendations. The food was good, not great however. The pasta was al dente which was nice but the flavors were weak and the chicken was under seasoned almost as if it was boiled. The ricotta cheesecake was a cooked perfectly and I would come back just for it. Ultimately a great night and great atmosphere so worth the visit but wish the food was more flavorful.
