This place was a tasty treat. If you like the smoked taste of the BBQ pit, then you will live this burger. I had the smokehouse cheddar (add jalapeño!). It is a smash burger so you will need atleast two brisket patties, need that thick burger, get three. But the taste is on point. It is the top contender for number one burger in panama city(my opinion and that ain't worth much!) You wont be disappointed with any of the food choices here. My first time here I had the ribeye bits and mashed taters. Very good. Highly recommend for multiple visits.

Party of 6. Had tuna dip with fried wonton as an appetizer which was very good. All of our meals were cooked perfectly and very tasty. Very nice portions, prices were good! Service was excellent. Caramel Cheesecake was so good, we got extras to go. We will definitely be back when in town. Highly recommend.

I did not expect Gary's oyster shack to have no raw oysters. Do not get the sweet tea it's bland. The service was great and the atmosphere was amazing.

We arrived a little before 3:00 - it says no where there is time up at 3:00 for lunch - oh well lg portions no fresh oysters . Peaceful place

This place was SO good. I was only in FL a week but ate here twice. I ate the brisket burgers. Key line pie and cheese cake was also on point. Great service.

Local and have been here many times. Last two times have been last two months. We’ve had long wait times for our food because they had a large group. Last time was two weeks ago. We were a group of 7. We waited 2 hours for our food. Two got the Creole fish dish which wasn’t edible. Frozen fish that was microwaved and barely warm. Red beans were very mushy. My hamburger was no bigger than a kids burger at McD’s. Owner visited our table but didn’t offer any discount and didn’t seem very concerned how long we had to wait. Needless to say we won’t be back.

This place is a local gem! I have nothing bad to say about this place. The food.... amazing. The best crab cake/fried shrimp/hush puppies I have ever had in my life. The cheese grits were creamy and the red beans and rice obviously freshly made. But let me talk more about this crab cake......it was rich, craby, fulllll of flavors, finely chopped onion and red peppers just added to the experience. The local feel was so friendly and warm. It felt like we were at an Uncle's house. Our waitress was so sweet and personalable. We will definitely be back.

Amazing! I have to stop and get dad BBQ on my way to Sims and it absolutely makes his day e everytime! Not to mention the yummy dessert he (we) always get. Coming from Georgia after 13 years of being here we have finally found real BBQ!!

The food and service was amazing. We went at lunch time on a Wednesday and the place was packed and still exceeded all expectations. I ordered the lunch stack which is grouper, shrimp, and a crab cake with cheese grits. This was some of the best food I’ve had, the crab cakes are unbelievably good. Everything was top notch. Best place we ate at on our vacation
