Gulf Coast Cafe

We weren't actually planning to eat here on our trip due to reviews stating it's overpriced and hyped, but we saw a "locals special" advertised on Facebook that seemed like a good deal. We waited a little longer than I would have liked given that the place wasn't very busy. However, the food was worth it. My son and I had the sliders with little mini corn dogs on top. So fun, and very tasty. French fries and ranch were good, and I'm not a big fan of French fries. Husband said his grouper basket was good. We ordered one Cat 5 chocolate shake to share. It was delivered by a robot, which was really neat. The shake itself was delicious, and we got to keep the jar. Our server was attentive and personable. Our milkshake jar was a mess so he packaged it up for us to get it back to the condo without making a mess in the truck. I'm glad we ignored the reviews and stopped in. I can't wait to go back!

I love trying new restaurants every time we go out of town and Gulf Coast Burger did not disappoint. The food was delicious and the customer service is excellent. Holly was our waitress and she was so polite, cheerful, and very helpful with any questions we had. They also have cute little robots that deliver the milkshakes, which are AMAZING. If you bring the family, the little ones are going to enjoy that part. We will definitely be back.

Omg, I didn’t know what to expect coming here but omggggg! First tried the burger but it wasn’t to my liking. I heard the owner say that their chicken sandwich was banging. I said let me try it! I must say this was the best fried chicken sandwich I ever had. And let me say this, the crispy bacon I requested was off the chain! I had a regular milkshake and I couldn’t suck through the straw. Thought I busted a rib ?! ??????????

10/10 would recommend trivia on Monday nights! Having attended trivia, with the same host, at Brass Tap we can say this experience far supersedes that one! The salad is HUGEEEEE! Added the shrimp to it, for additional charge, and they are real Gulf shrimp, not the tiny farm shrimps. Shane hooked it up with unexpected service! Only suggestion would be real cups for water, rather than styrofoam.

Gulf Coast Burgers is a wonderful place for turkey, bison, and veggie burgers in PCB! Kate was a great server, recommending drinks and making sure we had everything we needed many times! Thank you for a great experience every time.

We love trivia night at GCB. Get there early because it gets crowded. Everyone at our table ordered something different, including 2 milk shakes and caramel cheesecake. Burger may be in their name, but don’t overlook the fried chicken sandwich. It’s the best in PCB. Kate was an awesome server. She made sure our drinks were always full and didn’t mind the separate checks.

Food was great and portions were nice size. We loved the robot that delivered the milkshake. Kate was an attentive server, very sweet.

DO NOT GO HERE…. IT IS A BIG RIP OFF.. This place in PCB added a 4% extra fee to each item. Apparently this fee was for using a credit card. At no point was this stated until I asked why our meals were priced higher than the menu price. THEN ON TOP OF THIS FEE WAS An “IF Tax”. When we asked about this fee on top of the other fee we were told that this was an “INFLATION FEE” this way they can charge EXTRA Without changing there menu!! But it is Not a Tax At All, just EXTRA Money for the restaurant. Is it LEGAL to call a hidden restaurant fee a TAX?!? Most people must not notice this hidden fee that is Never told to you unless YOU Ask. So when you get your bill it is 10% more than the written menu price. Then of course you have legal taxes added on top of this 10% extra fees. Also the grilled chicken sandwich was soggy and the hamburger was just ok.

The food there was average and nothing to brag about. They were very big but not the best. They have a robot the brings out the desert shakes and the kids thought that was the coolest thing in the world.

The burgers here are really good. The shakes are awesome too, and they get delivered to the table by a robot...so that was sort of fun. Also, you get to keep your drink cup and jar the shake comes in (they give you a clean jar to take home so you don't have to take away your dirty one. Service is also friendly and quick. This is our go to place for burgers in the area.

Service was great, food is very good, the cat 5 shakes are amazing. A cool little robot even brings the shakes to your table. It is a bit expensive but good. The reason I didn’t rate it five stars is because they charge an extra inflation fee like an extra tax on your bill. This seems a bit crooked and dishonest to me as there is no mention of it until you get your bill. If you want to charge more just do it, but do it honestly.

We enjoyed our burgers and fries, but we should also have ordered a milkshake, which we didn't think we needed at the time. We were nearly finished with our meal when another table had their milkshakes delivered by a robot server. How cool is that? Unique, to say the least! Not a cheap dinner, but not terrible for a tourist town.

I absolutely loved this place and can't wait to go back. Our server was Shane and he was great!!!!! I ordered the P-Dippy burger and it was delicious. The cheese sauce is great, too. The highlight is when the robot brings your shake to the table. It was awesome!!!!! I ordered the cookies and cream shake and it was fabulous!!!! This place is great for kids and a lot of fun!!!!!

The food is awesome. The staff is friendly the service is fast. The shakes are great. We were here on vacation(my brother is a local) and my vegetarian daughter loved this place. We are here 3 times.

Just went home after not visiting for a few years due to the hurricane. Tried several of the new restaurants. Had the burgers and fish and both were good. The Robot that brings your milkshake to the table couldn’t bring ours because he was under 21 and we had alcoholic milkshakes!! The orange dream was good and I got a nice tiki glass to keep. It was a little pricey but expected for the beach!
