Ohhhh myyyyy goodnessss!!!! It was late and we just needed some where to eat so we could go back to our hotel room. This place is in a convenient store! Ppl laying around up front. Watch ppl go in, and walk out without paying. We do t know this town so we went ahead and ate there. It was expensive truck stop food that say on heaters for 6 hrs!! We do t do McDonald’s but I wished we had. Guess that’s what out of towners get for asking for a place to eat. If I lived here, I’d never eat there again.

I enjoyed the food, it was some of that back in the day cooking when you go to grandma house for dinner.

I cant say enough about this place. I 100% recommend. The food was amazing! Alot of food for the price. Lots of flavor ( the name really fits ) , the staff was so kind and helpful. The atmosphere feels like home. I will definitely be back!

Friendly fun service. Lightly breaded-and perfectly seasoned fried pork chops. Perfect with their mustard celery salt potato salad and sweet brown sugar yams for dessert.

I've been in and out of Panama City for years, but yesterday was the first time I stumbled upon Josiah's and what a place! Home cooked food cooked with passion, love, and personality by the owner, Ms. Sherylyn. This wonderful lady loves her customers and you'll see that when you walk in the doors.
This quaint soul food restaurant offers some of the best food you're going to get in Panama City!
The catfish, grouper, wings... are all good, and I only wish I could have tried more. The homemade cakes are to die for. Definitely give this place a try if you're in the area, it's worth it!

My husband and I ate here a couple days ago. Food was excellent!! I had fried chicken, collards, potato salad, rice with gravy and a piece of cornbread ? Husband had the meatloaf. Large portions, nice atmosphere and very nice people. Will definitely be going back.

We walked in and my 10 year old shouted about how good it smelled. The owner/chef and the others working were kind and friendly. The food portions were so generous!! And delicious!! We all practically licked the plates. If you're in Panama City, this restaurant is a must. Some of the best southern soul food I've ever put in my mouth

As with every time that I visit this place, I know that I'm going to get some good, fresh cooked food. Not only do you know the food is going to taste good, but you have the assurance of knowing you will not be hungry after leaving. As a matter of fact, when you leave, you will need a nap because it will put you to sleep.

Had such a lovely lunch here! Loved all southern soul food options and everything we had delicious (pork chops & oxtail with mac & cheese, black eyed peas, and collards). The entire staff Wesley, Bri, and Sherilyn were so personable and seemed to genuinely want feedback on the food and experience their customers were having. Nothing but positive things to share... Highly recommend!!!

You have got to be kidding! The menu special for Wednesday, meatloaf, was not available because she said she was tired of making it. So I ordered a veggie plate. Everything was straight out of a can including the collards. Soul food? No way!! 4 little bowls of unseasoned veggies and a tiny piece of cornbread... over $16.00 not including tip!! Never again!!

Vegetarian options: They suck!!!
