This was a really disappointing experience. While my fiancé enjoyed the honey sauce on his chicken combination, the rest of our meal was disappointing. Both our shrimp with Chinese vegetables and the honey chicken came with rice that tasted stale and was inedible. My shrimp and vegetables were significantly overcooked, with hard shrimp and corn. The brown sauce on my dish also had an unusual and unpleasant flavor, unlike what I've experienced elsewhere. My fiancé also had several overcooked pieces in his meal that he couldn't eat. It's frustrating that we wasted our money on this. It seems Callaway might lack quality Chinese food options, as this is the second disappointing experience in the area, following No. 1 Asian restaurant on Tyndall Parkway. We've had much better luck at Red Star in Lynn Haven and will likely travel there for our Chinese food cravings in the future. I sincerely hope the owner takes these consistent negative reviews seriously and implements some much-needed improvements. Our experience, along with other recent one-star reviews, suggests a concerning trend. We are very disappointed with our meal.

I should have read the reviews first before I entered the establishment. The lady at the register showed signs like she didn’t want to be there and her attitude almost unbearable. I ordered shrimp fried rice and the rice was plain and the shrimp and the six extra small just laid on top of rice and not cooked inside the rice. The wings was cut weird and not that great. If I had to tell someone about this restaurant, I would say find you another restaurant. The meal was the worse carry out I’ve ever had. Attention everyone run as fast as you can from this restaurant. I’m not from here and chose that restaurant instead of going to Hunts seafood restaurant. What a big mistake. Worse Ever!

This used to be our get it after work to take home chinese place, but the food is jus not good any longer we have been so disappointed the last few times. Chicken was over cooked and could not be chewed, and the sesame sauce tasted burnt. Gotta find a new place.
You ask for extra shrimp and pay for it they give literally 2 extra shrimp also they will literally tell you to wait in the middle of an order to answer the phone to take someone else order

This place is horrible!!! I went back the second time to give it another whirl because we all have bad days but the second was actually worse than the first.
Been going to king house for years food has always been good. I can tell from the poor quality of food that it has changed owners. Food was complete trash ordered beef fried rice got 5 pieces of meat and yellow rice. And the Chinese vegetables I got were over cooked. Will never get my money again.

I ordered hunan chicken combination and shrimp with broccoli combination. It was amazing!! We almost couldnt stop eating it. Food didn't take long to be made and was hot when I got home. We will definitely be ordering from here again!!
