Mama Merl's Kitchen serves authentic and amazing Jamaican food. The food is described as great, incredible, and so good, feeding the soul with amazing flavor. Dishes are seasoned well and worth the price. Specific meals praised include the jerk chicken, which is juicy, flavorful, tender, and has a great smoked flavor with a good sauce. The curry goat and oxtails are tender, full of flavor, and melt in your mouth. The curry chicken also has flavorful sauce. Sides are highly recommended, including rice and beans or rice and peas, which are cooked perfect and have a delicious flavor. The cabbage, sometimes a veggie-mix-cabbage grilled with corn and beans, is delicious. The plantains, banana bread, pineapple ginger juice, and side wings with a nice smokey flavor are also enjoyed. The potato salad is creamy. Customer service is super nice, welcoming, friendly, and kind, with wonderful service. Many customers state they will definitely be returning.
