This was the first time we didn't enjoy our meals here. We both ordered the brisket which had way too much fat on it. The bark on the outside was very overdone and tough. Wasn't offered the free dessert for Veterans. We paid over $45 for 2 brisket and side with drinks and it definitely wasn't worth the money.

We have had the rack of ribs which melted in my mouth. So yummy. Also pulled pork sandwiches, awesome. I love the atmosphere and the fact that we all stand and salute and sing at noon and 5. We walked in telling the cashier that we had never been there before. Henry walked out from behind the counter introduced himself and shook both my husband and my hand and welcomed us. He asked us if we wanted a moment to look over the menu or if we would like him to explain it, we let him explain. Henry was amazing, we were so impressed how sweet and professional he was. I wouldn't hesitate promoting this young man. We ordered the smoked ribeye and the hand cut fries. Everything tasted fantastic. The place is decorated with flags, all things military, police, fire, first responder things. We are proud supporters of all people of service so we love this!! I highly recommend this fantastic place! We will definitely tell others and will be back to support. Love it!!

This BBQ spot serves the real thing, as the Pitmaster really knows how to smoke meat. The hand sliced brisket was perfect, moist with a nice bark. The six housemade sauces are unique. Best of all was Abby! I had the collard greens (great suggestion), and Abby was sweet enough to bring a sampler of their sides to try! Mac n cheese and slaw were standouts! Bread pudding too! Plus, they are big supporters of the troops and first responders! 🇺🇸

Being from texas, it's not very often I am pleasantly surprised with the barbecue and I'm had to say this one was perfect. It's a cool little joint that offers Texas smoked brisket and it has a beautiful bark on it. I did not try any of the sites but they also looked amazing and I will look forward to trying them next time

About Forth time eating Brisket on a bun , very good ,love it. Tried the 5 ribs for something different. Very disappointing, they were over cooked . Cut them and they actually well of the bone. If I had wanted pull pork I would have ordered pull pork. Will try again soon
While visiting Panama City, my husband and I decided to find a good spot for barbecue. After checking out Google reviews on Mission Barbecue, we decided to order takeout. It was located only about 5 minutes from our hotel. When we arrived, there was a decent crowd inside. The host was very helpful. She helped us place our order by explaining the different options to choose from. We ordered 5-bone baby back ribs, Mac & cheese, and baked beans as the two sides, and a side of cornbread came with the order. As we waited for our order, I noticed the beautiful decor around the restaurant. Memorabilia pictures of military and rescue workers were placed all over the restaurant. There’s a true story to this restaurant. Hospitality was the best. The atmosphere was pleasant, nice and cozy. Finally we received our food. Went back to our hotel to eat. OMG… best barbecue we have had in a long time. The ribs were so tender (meat falling off the bone) it came with your choice of sauce. We choose barbecue sauce with hickory. The Mac & cheese was so good it seemed as if it was baked In an oven. The baked beans were just right, had pieces of brisket in it instead of bacon. We are originally from New Orleans, La., and I didn’t think anyone can top our barbecue. I was wrong. We enjoyed it and ate it all. I would definitely recommend Mission bbq.
Food is ok, but very frustrated with the online order setup. Place an order for pickup, website says it’ll be ready in 8 minutes, arrive 9 minutes later and walk to end of counter per instructions from website, and then have an employee tell me that I have to go to the end of the line and wait for another 15 minutes(not because the line was particularly long, just that it seems to take a long time to order at this restaurant for some reason) in that to get my online order. What is even the point of having an online ordering system if it just becomes walking in like normal? I guess the answer doesn’t matter, because it’s enough that I won’t be going back(which I doubt they’ll mind since this policy seems specifically tailored to dissuading online pickup orders). Maybe they’ll fix it so others don’t make the same decision in the future though.

My husband and I ate there recently. It was only my 2nd time. Both times it was great. Food wise and service wise. Kathy, the hostess, she was so friendly and helpful. She went above and beyond to make sure we were having a great experience there. Loved the patriotic atmosphere and when the National Anthem was played I got a little choked up. I'll be back there for sure!
