Shuckums Oyster Pub & Seafood Grill

Was not a fan of the 6 people standing at the register just staring at us when we asked to create a carry out order. It was like we just blew their minds. We settled for going to the bar to place it and the bartender was bitter because we had margaritaville cups full of water. Finally, we were limited on what we could place for a to-go order, not even cooked oysters were allowed to go. I know we’re just a small drop in the bucket and I wish Shuckums the absolute best but it will no longer be a stop for us.

The place has a really fun vibe. There's karaoke and dancing while you wait for a table. I had the crab cakes and they were pretty okay.

We r locals and every time weve tried to hang there its hard to get into. Im sure that means they have excellant food. We havnt had the pleasure of eating it yet. The karaoke space is always hopping. Last week we tried to stay and eat but the list was closed and the hostess or waitress was a bit frazzled and disnt really want to even answer questions as we were going to inquire about those slower times...

Great food and fun place. Go early or you’ll be waiting a while.

We loved this place. The whole family loved it. The food was awesome!

This place was very discreet until you walk in and see dollar bills everywhere and people having a great time. Oysters were amazing, however our crab legs were a little dry. Probably not usual but in my opinion the place was great! Would recommend and would go again.

Wild experience. There were 8 of us. Wait staff brings out three meals and said the rest is on the way. They brought burger, coconut shrimp and a big mack. It was all things we ordered, wrong sides and there was cheese on the burger (though we specified no cheese due to an allergy.)

We send back the burger and our waiter comes back out with it. He proceeds to say- this isn't your food. He picked up all of the plates and carried them to another table. Including the burger my son had touched in order to check for cheese. The food that had sat in front of us for several minutes ...

Unfortunately the food that did come for us was overcooked and not great. I ordered the snow crab. The shells were so rubbery and weird that I couldn't get them open with the cracker easily. I wasn't given a crab fork. I asked for one, and the waiter had never heard of that utensil. He said he'd bring me a small fork they use for oysters. He brought it when I was nearly done with my food. I had to use a steak knife to cut them open vertically. There was very little meet in it anyway. It was disappointing to say the least.

The server did hid best, but he was hectic, constantly rushed, didn't refill drinks etc. I'm not sure how this restaurant has 4.4 stars unless people like it for the kitsch.
