If you’re coming for breakfast, be ready to wait about 15 minutes just to get menus and drinks. And even after ordering, there’s a chance your food won’t come out quickly. The place definitely has potential, but the service doesn’t quite meet expectations.
What really stood out was one very disrespectful server. He actually forgot our order, and instead of apologizing, he was pretty rude about it. On the brighter side, there are also some really kind people working there — I think one of them might have been the supervisor, Maire (or a name close to that).
So if you want to start your morning off on the wrong foot, this restaurant’s breakfast is the place to go.

Music was too loud for the acoustics in the room. Would be a great before and after for acoustic treatment.

Terrible experience. Short staffed by a LOT (they did do their best). We sat for more than 10 minutes and had to ask for water and menus. The waiter told us dinner would take at least 30 minutes after we ordered based on kitchen staff. My tacos were cold and bland (and not what I ordered - ate it as I didn’t want to waste another 30 minutes). My partner’s fish was FISHY and inedible. The lighting is brash - cafeteria like, and not very clean. Two of the stalls in the ladies room were out of order. Super disappointing on our first evening at this resort.

A true feeling of not being welcome. Come in tired from a long drive and they are closed and hour and half before the posted time. Next night same story. breakfast was terrible service was terrible and cost us 40$ for 2 eggs 2 bacon and a very small bowl of fruit. wife had 2 pieces of toast that were supposed to be French toast but were literally just sourdough toast with a bit of syrup to dip them in.

First time staying at the resort.
Kenny the bartender was amazing! He was by far my favorite waiter/bartender during the whole week in PCB.
We had a bacon and pepperoni pizza. Soooo good and more affordable then any other pizza and did not have to pay a delivery service or leave the resort for a easy dinner which was a plus. Their salads are yummy to and loaded!!!!! They currently close at 8 and they are doing some remodels! Do not let these things stop you. This is a really affordable and yummy place to eat after a long day at the beach or pool 👨‍🍳❤️

The food was pretty good. It seemed like they were understaffed and under renovations but, overall we had a good experience.

We have went to this restaurant multiple times and the food was ALWAYS amazing!! The service however, hit or miss. Throughout the week we experienced food orders wrong or forgotten, drinks received 10+ minutes after the food. We attempted to eat breakfast and place a carry out order but stood at the bar for 15 minutes without acknowledgement.

We had all kind of different food on 2 different occasions and everything (except baklava) was good. People was very accommodating. We ordered to pick up. Inside looked very nice. Wait was not long at all. Would eat again.

Was a great dinner stop. Transitioning from a Sheraton to a Hilton property. Food stop will staying loose by. Suggest the crab and lobster dip for starters, Blackened grouper tacos and grilled chicken Caesar wrap, couple of beers and a glass of wine for the wife and we were done for the night. Delicious, super hot, great fries and bartender was exceptional pulling waiter duties too!! Fun time for dinner

5 of us celebrated Mothers Day at The Tides for their Mothers Day Buffet. A mistake. First problem was upon arrival the front desk was asked where the restaurant was. Was told breakfast was over (it was 11am). A bit taken back we asked about the buffet as we had even called to confirm hours. Finally they got some correct info and directed us.The area was almost empty. No character. Was told someone would be found to get a drink order. That took some time. Was told twice while we waited to go help ourselves. We explained we were waiting for drink orders…Got into the “line” (there was none) a bit hesitant as it was an extremely short table of food. Had to get our plates and silverware and proceed. Salad with ranch or Italian, fruit, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage patties, biscuits, gravy, fried shrimp, grilled shrimp, mashed potatoes, fried Brussels, and prime rib station that had some rolls. Dessert was peach cheesecake and chocolate banana pudding. Mimosas for the Moms.$40 ppWas totally shocked as an ad had read:“MOTHER'S DAY LUNCH BUFFET: 10 a.m., noon and 2 p.m. seatings available at Tides Restaurant at Sheraton Bay Point Resort, 4114 Jan Cooley Drive, Panama City Beach. Buffet includes raw bar, salads, carving stations with roasted sirloin of beef and honey glazed ham, pasta station, omelet and waffle station, hot buffet, and dessert, plus mimosas and Bloody Marys, as well as kids buffet and Cookie Decoration Station for kids of all ages.”Now it is possible that was an old ad we found on internet. But for the same cost the offerings were totally reduced. And to make matters worse it was sub par. Eggs cold. Bacon not cooked enough. Sausage dry, frozen biscuits not fresh, gravy congealed, couldn’t eat the fried shrimp as it was dried up and cold. No seasoning on grilled shrimp. Mashed potatoes were ok, Brussels sprouts mushy and cold. The prime rib was good. The cheesecake good. The pudding was gross. We are just thankful that we enjoyed being together. But it was not a good experience and it was money wasted. This is not good exposure for the new owners Bluegreen Resort. If you can’t do it right don’t do it at all.

I don't often eat at the resort restaurants because they are pricey. But we were tired after driving all day. First off service was very good, especially considering one server was very new. I was feeling hungry so I ordered the combination Grouper, Shrimp & Scallops grilled dinner with lemon basil risotto and asparagus. The wait time was not very long, so that was good. The grouper, shrimp, and scallops were all overcooked. The risotto was very sticky and gummy. The asparagus was pretty good. I did eat the seafood but not the risotto. Worst $39 I have spent in a while. My wife ordered the fettuccine and said it was just OK, nothing spectacular. Similar to any cafe or diner you might get fettuccine at. Not real Italian restaurant quality, but we didn't expect that. It was easy and convenient but that was all. Again the service was good. BlueGreen doesn't have a lot of properties with restaurants but this was definitely not BlueGreen quality from our experiences.
