I am a platinum IHG member who stays at this hotel at least once every year. I love everything about this place and it is the only hotel in PCB where I'll ever stay. On some visits, we never leave the hotel because everything you could ever need is right there. My only complaint about my 9/2023 stay is the way we were treated by a member of the hotel staff on our last night. We were walking through the parking lot on our way back from dinner. One member of our party happened to exhale vape smoke in the hotel parking lot. That prompted one of the hotel staff to become very rude and order us to the smoking area. He was so rude that we chose to simply walk past him and not even acknowledge that he was talking to us. I do understand that the hotel is completely smoke free but that staff member could obviously tell from our wristbands that we were hotel guests and could have been a little friendlier toward us. Because I did not want to ruin the last night of our vacation, I chose to let this event slide. However, if another staff member of this hotel is ever rude towards me or any other members of my party during future stays, I will immediately report them to hotel management. After all, my visits help to pay the salaries of the staff members and if I am not treated respectfully, I can find another hotel to support.
We love this resort! We have come with the whole family and for a couples get away. They have service, convenience, entertainment, and atmosphere down to a science, resulting in a one stop vacay spot right on the beach! The food and drinks, while a little pricey, are extremely good. The service in every area is fantastic. We will be back!
Nice place but parking is the worst Fun place with lots to do and choose from Price is high , convenient location Clean and nice staff. Best lazy river. Very expensive rental for beach chairs and umbrellas $60 a day
The resort has very nice amenites and interteinment for both kids and adults. We staied for six nights and had a great time. Very attentive and acommedating staff, a special thank you to Andrea from the front desk.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay but it was very expensive, especially the room but the price for breakfast (which, apparently, isn't included free if you don't check the breakfast option box. Wait? What?) is ridiculous at $75/person for the buffet. Go down the road to the All American Diner and have just as good a breakfast, if not better, for $12! The room had sand on the floor on arrival but was otherwise clean, loved the bathroom and shower. The hotel food is good but, again, on the expensive side. The place was very busy and one of the elevators was causing problems, one guest said she'd been trapped in it for 45 minutes the day before, and it still wasn't fixed when I left the hotel 3 days later. The wait for elevators (and breakfast) during busy times needs attention, it's too long and too lackadaisical for a hotel of this standard. Bring your own beach chair, they're $60/day to hire! And the early morning towel drop on the sun loungers in the hotel needs to be addressed. Most of them are never occupied and makes it very inconvenient for other hotel guests. The reception desk guy who handled my check-out was ignorant and unsympathetic to my complaints when I complained about room cleaning (lack of), he informed me then that it was by request only then just walked off and occupied himself elsewhere. Nobody told me that when I checked in which is a MASSIVE oversight but if you don't know about it it keeps the costs down for the hotel, doesn't it? The one good thing that saved this vacation was Ricardo. Look out for Ricardo in the bar restaurant area, super nice guy and super attentive, that guy is a star and needs a big pat on the back! If it wasn't for Ricardo, I'd give only 1 as an overall rating. Summarising, I wouldn't recommend this hotel, especially for people coming all the way from the UK, it's just way overpriced and would be so disappointing especially if they'd come for an extended stay. 3 days was enough for me, I was glad to be going home. Certainly NOT value for money, go somewhere else.
We’ve stayed here many times and have never had a bad experience. The staff couldn’t be any nicer or more accommodating. Our kids are grown with their own children now and they are booked next month for their first family stay. Everything is clean and well maintained and the food is always excellent. Highly recommend!!!
GREAT time at this beachfront hotel! Nice amenities & attentive staff from front desk, shuttle service & management! Experienced a hiccup w/ our room, staff went over & beyond & made it right! They understand CUSTOMER SERVICE! Thanks IHG!
We have celebrated our wedding anniversary here for the last two years. This is a beautiful resort. It is very clean with spacious rooms and beautiful views. The only reason I am not giving an excellent review is the entertainment. The first year we enjoyed the entertainment because it was all new to us and they had a guest concert (Eagles tribute) which was rained out. This visit there was not a guest concert and the Polynesian show gets old after you have seen it three or more times during your stay and the Todd Henedren show is good but it gets old too. If there were more different entertainment and more guest concerts this place would easily receive a 5 star review.
This was our first stay at H.I. Resort but won't be our last. The security was plentiful and everyone on staff was always nice and helpful. Resort was very clean, and we were constantly seeing staff cleaning and repairing anything that was needing attention. Our room was super clean and we appreciated having room cleaning during our 2 night stay---so many places don't do this anymore, but we appreciated it. There is so much to do, or not do, that you can park and never leave. Activities for the kids were abundant and we felt safe and secure throughout or visit. My only pet peeve was seeing people go out at 7am to lay claim to the pool chairs.... there are tons of chairs, but please obey the rules and don't lay your towels on them unless you're going to use them immediately.

Party of 4. I used to come here every yr with family and friends in the 90’s and kids grew up and stopped. Well now I have grandkids and we are back! Stayed a week and loved it. The lazy river and pool and the gulf was perfect. Rooms were clean and I can’t say enough about John with guest services, what a great guy with his perfect parking spot for me and being so nice. The drinks in the bar so pretty. And cold!will be back again.
Private bar nor open to general public.
Everything has been awesome...aside from the painful elevator music being played poolside ALL DAY LONG! Everyone was complaining and no one changed it. Not exactly the tropical feel. And complimentary coffee in the lobby would be a plus-3.00 for a tiny cup is a little much.
Amenities and rooms were nice but they seemed awfully strict about everything... Couldn't even drink morning coffee and enjoy a smoke on the balcony - yet the whole place smelled like marijuana. Our room safe locked us out and the maintenance guy took 2-3 hours to get into it so we could get our firearms out. Luckily, my trip was free though so no money wasted, def wouldn't pay the price they're asking.
Great Resort! Friendly & Courteous Staff. Family Oriented. We Feel Safe @ all times. Fun entertainment.
