Beautiful View overlooking the water while you dine. Upstairs and main dining room downstairs. Manager presence is always there and interaction with the guests. Staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable of all aspects of the restaurant. Food is superb and consistent. A great date night venue and group dinners. Tonight we had the salmon, sautéed crab claws and truffle fries. We also enjoy the Grouper Piccata, blue angel chips , BBQ Baked Oysters and dessert. Atmosphere is excellent.

The grouper sandwich and tartar sauce were amazing, but my fries were quite mediocre. My wife loved her scallops. We had lobster fingers as an appetizer, which were good, but not great. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the water view. Service was good, but the locals monopolized the tender, which we understand. We expect that in our home town as well. There is lots of seating, both at the bar and also tables. We preferred the open air upper deck vs enclosed area downstairs. We both left full and satisfied. We will definitely be back next time in town.

We came here for our 5 year anniversary. They where wonderful from the beginning by giving us a special menu for our anniversary. The drinks unfortunately where not very good. I ordered an old fashioned and by far the worst old fashioned I've ever had. That being said I told the waiter and he took it off our bill. Now the food is on a entire different level. The food was beyond amazing. I would definitely come back.

The food is phenomenal...the grouper Picatta and the shrimp and grits were out of this world. Only issue was our waitress, she was very impersonable until she brought the check (surely to ensure a tip), then she was a chatty Cathy. We will definitely be back though.

Get the calamari instead.When we arrive early for our reservation, we checked in they were so busy they overlooked calling us for our tableI did not like the sides with my meal, so I asked to substitute and was told there would be NO EXTRA CHARGE if the sides were equal or less, which they were. However when I got the bill, there was an up charge. That was disappointing. When I asked why, the server (Taylor) said she told me. I hate being lied to. So be aware of the up charge.

Almost left but waited 45 minutes without a reservation. It was definitely well worth the wait. Some of the best shrimp and grits I have ever had, large meaty portions and not just grits and gravy.
Great grouper...presentation was beautiful but I didn't think of pictures until it was too late.

Our food was good, but the presentation had a lot to be desired. Our waitress Sarah was ok, but not very attentive. We were disappointed that there was no bread so I ordered some side bread. It was a large dry croissant looking thing that was returned.Then here comes Ansley and saves the day. She was very attentive and was concerned with how we liked our meals..If we had a single reason to return, it would be Ansley. She was great!

The Grand Marlin is *Chefs Kiss!* we had our date here on a Friday night! It was our first time, it was full but not packed thankfully. We were sat at the Oyster bar and the manager got us our drinks very quickly. Once we looked at the menu we knew exactly what we wanted. We ordered Calamari for the appetizer, it was the best my husband&I have ever had! Dinner entrees pictured below! Highly recommend for a dinner or meeting!!
