HIDDEN GEM! We live in parkland and this plaza is our Publix plaza that we visit at least twice a week but we never saw the restaurant because it’s in the back and definitely hidden from eye site. I’m so glad we found it tho, they have outstanding service , beautiful view , breathtaking place, the inside design is amazing, each corner has a breath of a different country. Perfect for any occasion or even just a day out with family. We had lunch paid $120 with tip for 2 people including delicious desert baklava. Our food was great! I had the Mediterranean rice bowl and my husband had Mediterranean grouper. Everything was great, fresh and made quickly! This is definitely our restaurant now. If you want ambiance, this place has it in spades. Unfortunately there is little else to enjoy there. The low point is the food. The brik was an overcooked greasy egg roll, the beef short rib was extremely fatty and the grilled sea bass was parched dry (although beneath the surface I found some reasonably moist but bland sections). The staff was friendly but lacked the higher level of training and professionalism. This was our third (and unfortunately last) visit to Deja Blue. There are many other places which provide a better experience at a similar price point.
Be sure and ask for a table outside on the back deck overlooking a beautiful pond with a lighted fountain. Or sit at the spectacular bar with see thru on both sides. Great ambiance, food, service and presentation.

Cocktail was not made properly and server did not return for approx. 15 mins, so we walked it back to the bar to get it resolved. Dinner was served in cast iron skillet which was blazing hot, no warning from the server and I actually burned my arm on the skillet. I then burned my tongue on the blazing hot pasta. Server didn't return to the table to see how meals were until well after delivered, didn't seem to take our complaint serious the first 2 times we told her. Eventually she removed the charge for that entree.... No manager found it important enough to come to the table to inquire or apologize. Will not return to this restaurant, service is slow and management unprofessional.

Beautiful day to have brunch on the patio , looking out at the water and the birds. Our waiter was fantastic. My husband and I enjoyed our meal. Starting with the Arancini and the Brik. My husband had the Lamb Tajine and I had the Lamb Chops. Both were very delicious. For dessert we had the Carrot Cake and Creme Brûlée.
I enjoy brunch here almost every Sunday. I have never had an issue during brunch. Everyone is great. Food is delicious. My fave is the lobster Benedict. My kids love the avocado dukkah.

So basically the atmosphere and presentation is very well put together 9/10 for presentation. However the actual food itself is not so great, so if you want to come here for an event like Valentine’s Day I would recommend, but actual food I would not.
