We live in Parkland and we’re big seafood fans, We visited the restaurant to try the menu. Unfortunately the only tables are outside, We looked at the menu and the prices seemed compatible to the top restaurants in the area. We were not prepared to pay these kind of prices and eat in 85-90F so we left without eating.

So happy this place is here and close by. We eat here at least once a week. We always get the Shrimp Po Boy Roll and Salmon Sandwich. It's the real deal seafood spot large portions with very reasonable prices. The staff is pretty awesome as well!

We had lobster roll and fried clams! They were both delicious! They have takeout but if you want to eat it there they have outdoor seating.

They only gave me half of my order. I purchased four soups and only two arrived. In addition, the clam chowder was spoiled. It had a pungent spell coming from it and it tasted rotten. I am extremely disappointed. I called and spoke to Greg at the restaurant who acknowledged that they’d gotten my order wrong and they’d also added “too much milk” to the chowder. What a waste! $49 and an hour of waiting gone down the drain. I’d never eat here again.Greg offered me a credit for the amount of my meal if i came back again, but I’m not ever eating at a place that serves spoiled seafood. I should get my money back.

About 3:30 p.m on March 21, 2023! Highly disappointed! First time eating at first catch! Ordered Half Dungeons Crab Boil for $38 which included egg, corn, shrimp, clams, and and Dungeons Crab legs! I did not get my egg in the boil and found a strand of hair on the potatoe! I'm completely disgusted and lost my appetite. I will not eat here again!

Place looked cute and was excited to try it based off the pictures online (specifically the sweet potato fries!). Unfortunately, the food was not good. Our bill was $75 for 2 adults. The grilled grouper and shrimp were tasteless and the broccoli was not edible. The sweet potato fries were there thin cold things, unlike the big crinkle ones in the photos.Staff was great and super nice, unfortunately the food was less than desirable.

We ordered seafood platters from First Catch last night and everything was well prepared and very tasty. We had grilled snapper platters and blackened Mahi. Cole slaw was good, sweet potato fries were excellent - seemed to have a hint of cinnamon, and the hush puppies were also good. Will definitely be back as it is so close to us.

I visited First catch when they first opened. I don't remember what I had but wasn't impressed. I chalked it up to them being new. Fast forward to present I was in search of a place for my calamari craving. The reviews were pretty decent so I decided to give them another try. I ordered calamari, mozzarella sticks, and mahi bites. The calamari and mahi had no flavor. The batter needed seasoning. Not a fan of the sweet aioli. So disappointed my meal wasn't good. I didn't eat the calamari went in the trash. I took the batter off the mahi and used the garlic aioli I had at home. The service was good and outside was cute. They were nice back then and now. Just not a fan of their food. I wont be back. Shame because they are close to my house.

The food from First Catch is always on point but we usually order from Uber Eats. Today we decided to come in and so glad we did. Clean inside and outside with nice patio seating. Not only was the food amazing as always but the service is a another reason we will be coming in from now on. It was 5 stars!!!

It was ok. We liked the outside seating and the owner is super nice. Food didn't have a lot of flavor. But the hush puppies were awesome. Plenty of parking. Taco Tuesday is a good deal. $12 for two tacos

First Catch Seafood & Grill in Parkland is a gem of small casual seafood restaurant with upscale quality food. It's not easy finding reservations for a seafood restaurant in the Boca Raton area for a Saturday night and most were booked between 5:00-9:00. I googled and came across First Catch Seafood & Grill which was not far from Boca. It had a good varied menu and a very high rating. I was able to make a 6:30 reservation for inside seating which my friend preferred. A few days later, I received a call asking if we didn't mind coming at 5:45 because it was the only inside left. It wasn't a problem.A day before our reservation, I received a call confirming. I was impressed with the follow up. Upon arrival, we were a little surprised to see only three two seater small tables inside, but outside has several small tables and three nice size booths under cover. They also do a huge takeout business.I would not have been comfortable sitting inside. The owner, Greg, said "Please, sit anywhere you want." His pleasant and very professional demeanor was just the beginning of a wonderful evening. We each ordered clam soup. It was perfectly creamy but not too thick. Every spoonful contained morsels of clam and potatoes. Next we had calamari. We consider ourselves experts. I'm pretty sure it was the best we've ever had; a large portion and just the right crispness.Next my friend ordered what they call "the triple catch"; a choice of fish, with shrimp, scallops and two sides. He raved about everything!I ordered grilled shrimp with a side of Caesar salad and macaroni and cheese which I am still talking about. I'm so glad there was some left to take home. In between talking about football, Greg brought out a piece of chocolate cake on the house. We could barely stuff it down, but, after tasting it, that couldn't stop us.All night long, we were grinning from ear to ear. We've found the perfect seafood restaurant and a restaurant run by a smart and good businessman. One of the other things that makes First Catch so special is a top experienced chef. He was hired at the beginning of the year to run the kitchen and ensure the quality, presentation and consistency never changes. One very minor disappointment for my friend is they don't serve coffee. Because the restaurant has that rustic-style atmosphere, I was not shy asking if we could bring our own. " Absolutely", said Greg. It couldn't have been more apropos when the bill arrived. At the very bottom it said......."Catch you later!"
