This place is such a hidden gem in Parkland. A very small, cozy spot (maybe about 10 tables), tucked away in what feels like a quiet house or room setting, which makes the experience feel intimate and special.
The sushi menu is incredibly versatile — a true fusion of Latin flavors and traditional sushi. Everything we tried was outstanding. The ceviches were amazing, and the tuna tataki was incredibly fresh and delicious. You could truly taste the quality of the fish.
We also tried four different rice-less rolls, and they were out of this world. From plantain and crab to tuna and salmon combinations — every bite was creative, fresh, and perfectly balanced.
The service really stood out as well. The servers and sushi chefs were super welcoming, friendly, and made us feel right at home.
Absolutely loved this place and can’t wait to go back to try more items on the menu. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something unique and high quality.

Even though South Florida has endless restaurant options, I still catch myself getting bored of the same spots on repeat. So, in an effort to shake up my routine, I took my partner out to Suhiato in Parkland. The place was pretty packed when we walked in, but luckily we snagged a table for two without much of a wait.
We ordered one shrimp bao bun and the volcano roll reloaded. As for the food, it was solid. The bao had that soft‑but‑slightly‑chewy thing going on, and the shrimp was crispy with good flavor. I will say it could’ve used a little more aioli because it leaned a bit dry. The volcano roll, though, was nicely done—loaded with a creamy, baked seafood topping and a good mix of flavors.
