I would call Butterfield's the heart of Parrish. It is ALWAYS busy, and rightfully so. The food, as home cooked as it comes, generous portions, great taste and excellent service. Just know, this is a busy place, make sure you have the time to wait for a table, it may take a tad longer to get your food, but you will not be disappointed.

I had breakfast there this AM. Ordered a 2 egg omelet with Swiss cheese..The omelet was dry like a pancake overcooked and the cheese was not melted. When I addressed the owner I have never seen any one son rude he took my slip crossed my breakfast and threw the check aside. Never an apology. I will address the cook. I had also told and showed the server who did nothing about it. I will never visit that place again and hope fully he is not as rude to other people. I have told all my friends and hopefully will spread the word
