This is the most low rent food court in the entire Air Force.

The Charley’s on Phelan and Dowlen Rd in Beaumont Tx usually has an empty parking lot whenever I drive by and today I found out why when I attempted to order food. Lobby is entirely empty at 3p on a Saturday and all staff are in the back on their phones. Wait staff makes eye contact with me 4 times over the course of 5 minutes while in the back as I stood at the counter but never come to take my order. After 7 minutes i left. Better hiring practices and managerial staff to enforce company policy might help but doubtful.

I wish it were just slow service, but it was no service. I walked into the dining room to place it to go order. I was completely ignored by the workers. No hello. No “will be with you in a minute.“ Nothing. The two workers I could see both looked at me and turned away. The one wearing the headset didn’t take the order of the car in the drive-through that came after me. But she didn’t wait on me. Very disappointing. I was hungry and had cash in hand.

Today, I stopped at Charlie's on Patrick Space Force Base at 3:26pm. When I approached the counter, a female came out of the back and with a disgusted face and snotty voice said "we're closed" before turning back around with a "hmph". I looked at the store hours and it closes at 3:30pm. To many this may seem petty, but if your hours are 3:30, you should be open until 3:30, even if you are not busy. Time matters. Everyone wants to go home early, but we have jobs to do. So, I did not get the name of the female because she was not wearing a nametag, so when a male came out, I asked him who the female was. He replied, "my employee, Jada." So I told him that "she doesn't have very good customer service skills." To which, this guy looks at me like I am from another planet, then starts playing in the register acting like I was not there. I have been to dozens of Charlie's restaurants around the world (since they are on almost every Air Force and Army base (including Germany and Korea) and this store at Patrick SFB is the absolute worst! Customer service was not their forte before, but this was a whole new level of terrible! I have eaten there before and had to deal with a short order cook who can only do one sandwich at a time during a rush and tolerated their poor attitudes. In reading the reviews on Google, I am inclined to agree that this is the worst Charlie's in the world. Sad thing is that they claim to be "serving the best customers in the world". Sure. I also agree with the review on Google that the Charlie's at Walmart on Sarno is much better, probably one of the best. At a Walmart! Seriously? A Walmart store treats customers better and with more respect than one on a military base?!?!? Shut down the one on Patrick for a week so they can see what good customer service is! They don't want to be open during their scheduled hours anyway. Such a shame.

The staff was very friendly and kind. The atmosphere is a little boring but that's okay. The food was surprisingly really delicious. The prices are decent also. Very clean establishment. I enjoyed myself and my kids enjoyed their meals.

We really enjoy this place. The Houston Texas Copperfield location, Hwy 6 at West Rd, is wonderful. They are fast, accurate and very accommodating to my changing requests. They are always friendly and helpful. They have never once got my order wrong and they usually have to interrupt my abbreviated notes in the for name section of the app. I don’t have specific names but there’s not anyone at this location that is not friendly and doing a great job. We order out often and most times the order is wrong when I pickup the food. People don’t seem to care about the job they do anymore. Not at this Charleys, I’ve been to a couple others that could learn from this location. It’s so nice that they actually pay attention to what they are doing. I’ve been there when they are super busy and they take the time to ask me a question about my order to make sure it’s done how I want it. They genuinely make the effort to get it right. Kudos to this whole crew they deserve it. I know I’m just one customer but thanks for a job well done.

Tomas and his crew at Citadel Mall Charleys are always fast, friendly, and on point! They create the best cheesesteak sandwiches on the planet! They have no competition because they are just that good!

I had the worst stomach ache in a long time because of the Teriyaki sub and fries that I ordered which was more expensive than I expected ($18+). It was a terrible 6 hours of constant pain that felt like a rat gnawing inside. Thankfully, I was able to throw it up and the pain went away. Never again am I eating there (Yorktown Mall) because that was some serious case of food poisoning.

Bad experience with this location. Starting off with very unpleasant cashier. Zero personality, no greeting, very monotone in voice, just a total lack of interest in her job. That was so obvious! The steak was so over cooked, blackened and dry, and half of the “everything on sandwich please” was missing. The grill was much, much to hot for the meat, but hey, when you don’t like your job, everything about it reflects in what you are presented as a sandwich. Last time we drive here. Best Charley’s ever? Walmart store in Viera, Fl. THEY care about the customer.

Ordered off grub hub. Cheesesteak was completely wrong. No ketchup for fries when I asked for extra ketchup. Not even a napkin.

The sandwich I got for my husband at the Haywood Mall in Greenville, SC was very good he said. He said that was the best cheesesteak he ever had! Fresh bread, fresh meat…he loved it.

Very disappointed to know that the Veggie Delight is actually cooked on the same griddle, with the server/cook using the same utensil as the meat sandwiches. While the Veggie Delight does not specifically state it is vegetarian friendly, the name is deceiving. True vegetarians cannot eat the sandwich when it is cross contaminated with meat/meat juices.

We ordered food for delivery twice. Once the driver handed us a bag dripping with buffalo sauce which was all over everything in the bag including on two cheesesteaks. The second delivery the driver did not bring drinks. Both times the drivers were unable to communicate with us. I ordered on Charleys app and food was delivered by DoorDash. Called store for resolution/refund. Manager told us DoorDash had to give refund. Called DoorDash waited 45 minutes on hold for them to tell us Charleys had to refund. Emailed customer service through the app, first e-mail on January 14th. It’s February 14th and I sent out a final email SOS. The food is good but is not worth the hassle when an issue occurs and I highly recommend avoiding use of the delivery option.

Even though I ordered the small Chessesteak the "STEAK" was skimpy as was the cheese. way too expensive, not going back.
